A legit livers thread is needed. The old one self destructed when it turned out everyone who thought they had the real deal cut actually had a UGORG killer skunk.

Then you get idiots breeding their own "Steel City Blues" out of nirvana strains (B52 really?) to confuse things even more. Then you get UGORG releasing blues lines. Then you get people calling blue cheese blues.

tbh it really annoys me that ugorg brought out ''blues'' is such a stupid idea. it literally blows any chance of getting legit cuts out of the window.

I had the livers years ago. but not had it recently. id love to come across the real deal.

Exactly. No one should ever bring out a seed line based on a clone, with the same name. All it does is confuse things and make obtaining the clone more difficult.

Which is why I thought it odd someone would breed a Steel City Blues, completely unrelated to Sheffield Blues. Isn't Sheffield also known as Steel City? So you got two unrelated strains with practically identical names. That's not confusing is it?

Same thing happened with Headband, SFV, Sour Diesel, Cheese etc etc.

Liver's is a great plant, i lost mine to the popo.
The Blue meanie is more spicy the Livers is more blueberry skunk tasting.
The blue meanie will grow slightly more rounded and more leafy buds compared to the livers.#Bm is quicker, livers really needs to go 10=11 for the foxtails and decent high. yields around medium for both.
Been a while though, need that Og Livers back in my life.
Grown well both are really good, all on preference and growing skills.

Livers had a truly old school smell...very unique. Like stepping back in time.

Reminded me of old shoe leather and the sharp sting of shoe polish and mild skunk. It had zero "blue" smell to it until it was broken up - and then the faint wafting of blueberry could be detected.

Quite good smoke. Very clear high - promotes creativity. Not a "busy" sativa but certainly not muddy at all. Broad mites took her.

Livers: water only fully amended organic soil

FWIW - this is the same cut Stoney917 just pictured. It's amazing the effect different environments have on expression.
