Yes I have seen it at the store. I use PBP grow/bloom. For teas I like to make my own. Plus I get allot more tea making it for far less cost.... I use Alaskian living humisoil/Bat Guano/Powdered Molasses....I only use the tea 1 or 2 x a week.. I have never used it so I cant say if you could only use this for the whole grow cycle.

I keep a gallon on hand for when I forget to make my own tea. The only downside is I doubt there is much living bene's in it so I will add a scoop or 2 of great white/ roots oreganism or what I got on hand.

At 25 bucks a gallon its cheaper then a lot of other stuff.

Using as a solo nute I don't think would be cost effect and probable have some defciencys

Have been hearing lately that botanicare is working on a A and B formula to cut out karma(like house & garden) but have not looked into this tea. Don't see how you could get the right levels all throughout lifespan without the separation of flower and veg formula's. Like everyone else has said I'm sure some deficiencies will occur and you will need to supplement.

i use it in hydro, it's amazing, i use it with my GHE bass nuts, it promotes a lot of green growth, so i use less of it in bloom, it never foams, and after a day or so it almost becomes clear (meaning the water dose not become blackish brown. anyway i love pure blend tea.

25 bucks a gallon? its either worthless or potenitslly a great deal. im a little skepticle, what are the npk and other numbers? i read botanicares site and it didnt say it replaces pbp bloom and or pbp grow. its just listed as an additive. can you elaborate on what you heard its supposed to do and if anyone's used it can you tell me a little more about it. i was under the impression it was like mother earth tea by AN. just a vitality booster made from organinc sources. my fave botanicare product is still liquid karma even though they changed the formula a few years back. i love the way it smells. cheap too for what it does. mostly just humic acids and quano's. great for root drenches.

Pure Blend Tea is an organic supplement similar to liquid Budswel, Floralicious, or any pre-made & ready-to-use nutrient out there that is made to enchance aroma, flavor, and stimulate the plants beneficial bacteria/fungi I believe.

It is NOT a replacement for Pure Blend Pro or any other base nutrient out there because it doesn't contain anywhere near the same levels of NPK as them. It's main marketing demographic I believe would be towards the synthetic base users that are looking to add an organic additive to bring out more flavors and aromas that they are lacking in their other nutrients.

Do you run a sterilizing agent in your Hydro with the pure blend tea? I do and just started using the pure blend tea and ended up having some real bad pH issues.

Chingling I am that synthetic bass nutrient grower who started using pure blend for that reason. After a severe pH issue from using pure blend for one week I did some experimental reservoirs and found that it is unstable when mixed with a sterilizing agent. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have been using PB Tea off and on for around 12 years and I absolutely love the stuff. Any other nute that I have tried has given me lockout and PH issues and I always find myself coming back to PB tea. It's so simple, especially for someone like me who does not have a greenthumb and does not have a lot of spare time to mess with this.

Here is my KISS method:

Miracle Grow potting mix + Pure Blend Tea. That's it!

Pre-mix the tea at about 1/4 ounce per gallon and let it sit for around 24 hrs in a closed container like a plastic milk jug. After about 36-48 hrs the mix will start to stink and that is your cue that the mix has gone bad.

I first read about this method on OG when I started growing in 2003 and I am so glad that I found it because I probably would have quit by now due to my lack of success with any other nute. In late 2013 I thought I had broad mites when my entire crop turned yellow; turned out to be lockout from my Foxfarm Tigerbloom.

If anyone wants pics of my results with PB Tea let me know.

^^ I should point out that I used to use PB Grow and PB Bloom before they switched over to one formula and it seems like the new PB Tea is a little closer to the old PB Grow. I would see some N deficiencies towards the end of bloom under the old formula but not with this.

There are two Pure Blend lines, Pure Blend regular and Pure Blend Pro. The new Pure Blend Tea replaced the old Pure Blend Grow and Pure Blend Bloom.

Pure Blend Pro Grow and Pure Blend Pro Bloom are still made (along with Pure Blend Pro Soil).

Supposed to replace both PBB and PBG?

Very interested in trying this.

From the info on the website, do you think the girls would need any other nutes to support this?

Supposed to replace PBPG and PBGB. Its a pre made tea from what I understand.

This is the FIRST product Botanicare came out with! Before Pure Blend Pro and all that. First time I used it was 19 years ago!

I'm sure it's wonderfull in soil. The problems I have in hydra wouldn't be problems in soil pH difference the stuff stabilizes out around 6.5. I grow with the same method you do in terms of keeping it simple except I'm in hydro. I'm wondering if I need to mix the solution and wait overnight before I adjust the ph. I usually wait 15 minutes in between mixing nutrient additives and pH adjustments while circulating with a high volume pump. I really hope I figure something out because I've got 5 gallons of the shit.

Pure Blend Pro bloom for soil (1-4-5) is an amazing product. One tablespoon per gallon of water every watering, it is that easy. Plants have a ball with the stuff.
