that looks just like the white... The white is supposed to be a"trinity kush" what is the smoke and flavor like?

Kushy, hashy, spicy kinda OG is the best I can describe. One of my more potent varieties. I think it might be the white as well. Just said TK when I got it. Clearly not Triangle Kush. Figured Trinity Kush myself.

Hey Who dat is,

Nice looking buds.
Like you, I get that 'clawing' of the leaves on the buds - does anyone know what causes it?

Or even better, how to remedy it?

Thx,
BeL

I have found plants claw from over ferting. Some plants don't like to much P/K booster in flower especially multiple times in flower.

But it could also be from excess Nitrogen or just excess of anything but mainly over fertilization budelight.

Overwatering can cause a slight clawing kinda like what the pics above look like.

Not a diss towards you who dat is not saying yours are overwatered but I have seen many over watered plants show leaves like yours in veg and part of flower.

low light conditions make em claw like that, I get it on the edges of my canopy on a fairly regular basis could be the result of over fert for the amount of light as well...in the case of the photo above it can be clearly observed that the leaf tips are burnt due to excess nitrogen(looks dank, wasn't knocking your work)...in my experience the leaves can react the same way without showing clear signs of over fertilization(burnt tips) under lower light intensity

Y'all are funny, too concerned you might hurt my feelings. Thank you for the props fellahs and also the input. Both of you guys are right, the clawing and especially the burnt tips are the giveaway. This past leg has been a little bit of a roller coaster between being out of town for 9 days and leaving them in my roommate's care and dealing with appearances of Powdery Mildew. I always seem to have a N deficiency earlier in flower than I would ever want too so I was hitting them harder this round. I usually have several different flavors going at the same time and I don't change ratios or amounts for different strains. I like the easier middle of the road, shotgun approach to feeding. They were also overwatered for awhile too.

LOL BL I already gave you that info you stoner;) Its def from to much feed plus to much water. You need to let them dry out between feeding. Keep your EC levels at 1 GG#4 like it at this level. If you catch it early you can fix it. Lower the EC level and let the soil dry out another day before you feed again. The top 2-3 " should be dry

I've always thought that, but never thought too much of it. It's unlikely I actually overfeed my plants... yet every round I end up with a few taller ladies than I'd like, and stick them on the perimeter... then, sometimes they claw. I'd sort of had a theory that the lack of adequate light creates an 'overnute' situation to those areas, giving the clawing effect.

It all makes sense :woohoo:

it's caused by a nitrogen overdose somewhere in time. it never goes back. just watch to make sure more don't curl up and claw and you'll know when you're not overfeeding anymore.
