Hi Everyone, This is my fourth time growing, Im currently running Green Crack, Maui Wowie, Bay Area Cookies, and Pink Lady (Aka Plush Berry) Im about 12 days into flower now, and started noticing maybe two fan leaves on each plant have a weird curl on them that I cant seem to find on any forums. Ive attached pics if you can please tell me whats going on. Like I said its not a lot of leaves barely any at all just curious as to whats causing it...

The Low Down
BioBizz TopMax
BioBizz Bloom
BioBizz Alg a matic
BioBizz Grow
Ka Bloom Supplement
Botnicare Silica Blast
Botnicare Sweetener
BlackStrap Molasses

My temp is average 86 when the light is on, 74 when not. Im using a 4x4 tent with a 1000watt HPS. I have a 220cfm fan hooked up as exhaust. My plants are at least three months old now, and on day 12 flower.. Thanks for the help

My qrazy train does that once in awhile when the ph gets a touch out of whack....check your runoff and see where its at....

if it were just one strain I would say it may be genetic, but with all strain showing the same trait I would say start with monitoring the ph...

check the pH, and see if the roots are cold/moist. if everything else is fine i would start with a bump in cal/mag. early flower you need more cal/mag/n/(sometimes)micros which usually aren't a problem. new growth affected = micros. but most of that is caused by not enough oxygen at the roots. mag/n help new buds and branches grow. cal helps manage the rest.

Hooked leaves are specifically copper and Mn related if its nutes, otherwise it could be a sign of broadmites - it was the first sign we had of BM and I chased those micos for a while with no success before realizing what it was.
If its actually spiraling leaves, like a snail shell, that can be a sign of revegging. If this is the case I'd check your timers and for any light leaks that may be interupting the dark cycle.

as for your nute line up, why spend all that dough on biobizz to feed your soil to go and throw in botanicare? I'd ditch the botanicare silica blast and the sweet (which is redundant when adding molasses anyways), and concider throwing in the bioheaven if it is a miconutrient issue. I've used the entire biobizz line for the all mix (no algamatic, but added bioheaven) and had awesome results.

good luck!

I'm having the same problem. At first I thought it might have been my nutes, but I fed my other plant the same, and there was absolutely no problem there.

I think it's a case of revegging. The problem started about a week before I switched to 12/12, and after about a 60+ day veg cycle, half of my "twin" plant must have started flowering all on her own.

I'm now in about 9 days of flower, and the curling is only on about 3 shoots. I should see if all's OK in about a week or two, but should already be noticing some flowers. How's it turning out so far?

Just came across an older post in one of the forums, which mentions that this could be caused by a fan blowing over the leaves and drying them out too quickly. I thought I'd mention it because the problem on my plant happens to be exactly where the fan is circulating the most air. Anyone experiencing a similar problem should check their fans. It might be worth looking into.

So far, my early stage flowers haven't been affected.

If it is a manganese deficiency, 1 tablespoon molasses per gallon of water will help. It's OK to add every time you water, and it's supposed to sweeten your bud and give it a nice taste. I'll know for sure after my first harvest.

Standard Leaf Phyllotaxy ...its a genetic thing, the plants should grow out of it in time....no big deal ...is becoming more and more popular with all this in breeding these last 2-3 years ...google for more

Do you have a dimmable ballast? 86 is pretty warm for a 4x4. Were your plants vegged under the 1K? Look like heat and light stress to me. I bet if you backed off the lights to 600w you'd see a noticeable difference within a few days. You also might consider thinning out those bushes a bit to allow some more air flow.
