Here's a little close-up cola update. My camera skills are still in need of refining, I botched all the Platinum Sour D pics. But the good ones are nice and good.

Cold Creek Kush is clouding up a lot, as of 3 days ago. And hopefully will be cloudy when I look at them tomorrow morning. It seems to be fox tailing out a bit now too, so really is time to chop I hope. Flushing for almost two weeks, longer cure if needed.

The rough plan is to chop Cold Creek Kush this weekend, Golden Goat next weekend, Platinum Sour D the next, and finally The Shire last. Amber trichs and yellow sugar leaves being the ultimate deciders.

Here is the Golden Goat #1

and The Shire

The yellowing leaves still bothers me on The Shire. It's Lucas formula and I hope just naturally starting to finish/die, and not a deficiency at the very end here. Same goes for the Goat. I need to remember too I always get nervous about loosing the crop in the last few weeks of every grow . . . paranoia maybe ;) ?

Please someone tell me I am fucking up, or to just calm down on the worrying !!

Made the soil today. 20 gallons or so. Same mix I used before. So far it has really impressed me. With a few weeks left in this flower, it should be nice and cool by then. And ready to mix with the used soil from the organic pots.

Also took a new batch of clones, as the old ones dried and died. With some modification to the clone tub, and a heavier misting schedule, less dying on the horizon. Looking ready to hit the empty tent running. :)

Pictures ahoy . . .

Got the macro working, but cannot get it through the color filter. Argh!

Nobody is amber at all yet. It being day 68 I am getting antsy, but I will wait all the same.

Here is some nice frosty closeups . . .

Well the Cold Creek Kush is chopped and trimmed. 71 days in all. It had the most trouble with the pH mix-up for sure. But still, as my "worst" plant this run, it pulled its own weight.

I wear a headlamp and use a desk lamp too when I trim. My eye needs a lot of help to see the leaves :) Trim station ahoy!

I managed a couple in focus closeups.

And finally all trimmed and hung. I am thinking (hoping) 4 oz.

Golden Goat # 1 chopped day 80.

Sooo much happier with the nuggie-ness and overall vigor with this one. There was less than a handful of popcorn bud, almost all good dense and hairy buds.

The trichs were all thick and cloudy with maybe 10-15% amber. Yum.

Also I put the Cold Creek Kush and the middle pot Shire into jars. I still hold firm on my guess of 4oz of the Cold Creek. And the shire looks like a solid 2 plus oz. Also nice chunky dense nugs like the Goat is. I really feel sorry for the Cold Creek having pH issues so bad, it took out its punch.

Onto some pics of the progress . . . . . . .

The Shire is in the left two jars, with the rest Cold Creek Kush.

Well it's all cut and trimmed! Made it almost through 2 seasons of Game of Thrones over the whole crop.

The Platinum Sour Diesel and The Shire are still hanging until wed. While The Goat and Cold Creek and Middle Pot Shire are jarred and settling into their cure.

I weighed the jarred nugs and have a total, albeit less than I'd hoped. All weight is minus the popcorn that is drying with the trim, final on that later this week.

The Cold Creek Kush 4.25oz

Golden Goat #1 4.25oz

middle pot Shire 2.25oz

In reality they are all a quarter oz or more heavier, but I don't wanna count on water weight that might be lost over the cure. even if its not a full quarter oz.

From these numbers I think the two hanging ones will be 5 oz or 6 if I am lucky. As usual The Shire looks like it has the potential to almost double the other plants, but I am going to patiently wait for the actual numbers this time.

And now for some pictures . . . . .

Very nice looking harvest you've got there. Enjoy catching up with Game of Thrones. Winter is coming.

SO the final tally is:

Golden Goat #1 - 4.25

Cold Creek Kush - 4.25

The Shire - 5.0

Platinum Sour Diesel - 3.75

Middle Pot - 2.25

TOTAL - 19.5oz

Not too bad, and not too amazing. I am going to try less branches, but bigger colas this next round. More like the middle pot. Also a more frequent Earth Juice tea schedule, as I think even with 10 gallons of soil some of the macro nutrients went low at the end.

The Goat and Shire have a strong sour punch to the smell. Test bowls of the Golden Goat are already a nice high and good taste. The Shire is tasty and the high is still curing in slowly.

Cold Creek smokes smooth as well. I don't taste a whole lot and the high is good, but not any headrush so far.

The Diesel is still in the hay/burping phase, more updates to come.

Onward into the current grow, I have cleaned up and downsized the stock in the veg cab. It's down to just three moms (Shire, Halcyon, Wapio'hapa), and a tester to flower enough to sex.

In the hope to maybe run another tent over the winter, I have cut 8 halcyon clones. I figure why not get some extra good dense nugs when the temperature is right for it.

The tent is vegging two Halcyons (right), a Shire (top left), and Bruce Banner (bottom left).
