When you water them into fresh coco you should press down a little on the coco and tap the cup a few times against the ground so that the coco makes solid contact with the stem to keep it from getting soggy like that.
I think the plugs are working better for you that way in the coco because they are being squeezed by the coco onto the stem.

hey 10ft the only thing about pushing down on the coco it compacts it ...making it less ariated...with the perlite in it they drain nicely as not to get too soggy...i wick em from the bottom to add water...DJXX

Possibly less aerated, but 100% successful.
The roots end up busting out of the cups.
Sometimes its hard to get the clone out!

I picked off a whole sack I missed the other day. inspected her top n down... fucking sticky mess thats going to be a floppy mess soon to come but nothing else...

Going to do a full system check to ensure this isn't an equipment error but being the only plant giving me trouble that isn't the hermie tester from medman I gotta say im extremely disappointed... as well as perplexed...

Last round she spit some dicks late... but real late but not like this... not on the nicest top.

Could I be overfeeding?

I usually flush with pure water but im scaling down the E/C instead.

Its only day 47 week 7... Its like im growing different plants lol These things look semi ready

Shit I know for a fact that the BATF F2 #1 (winner) looks like shes an 8 weeker - maybe 9 cause holy fuck that thing is super stacked and the pistils are dying and the calyxes are super swollen and PURPLE... loving that plant guys... just wait till ya'll see that sexy beast.

Anyways I just tossed the NTOG mama into flower. I went the lazy fuck route. I keep my coco mix in a 5 gallon bucket and I have, well had, around 3 gallons of mix in there so I grabbed a lid and another bucket.

Drilled holes in the lid and then in the bottom of hte other bucket. Transferred the coco into bucket w/ holes and then put hte lid with holes on the bucket w/o holes - EPIC EASY DTW.

I just sprinkled some of that cheap powder rooting hormone from HD before I planted her and then watered. Shes sitting in the doorway and not causing any intake issues or changing the temps negatively since she is directly infront of the passive intake interior port.

I gotta give her a hair cut but i took the lazy route. Mad a bomb dinner and dabbed it up.

thought these were cool to see. The hermie(s) that knocked up my flower room made some big ass seeds. They are also all very visible and not hidden by calyxes on the other strains as well.

Heres some GDPxQuerkle fuck ups...

I'm going to eat them :canabis: hemp seed is healthy mwuahahaha

Really digging the sole survivor of that cross. Shes turning purple and got some beautiful calyxe swell and frost action going.

Maybe hammer head can chime in on what he sees going on here and can help me get that # so I can dial her in ;)

the NTOG move from veg to flower helped me cause I was losing planted clones due to a lack of light. They just slouched over and never stood up again...

I just need a couple solid glue replacements and then things should be back in motion as soon as I can chop down a few more plants. Got a few going right now but they need to show me they are in it for hte long haul.

Thanks everyone

stepping my game up.

Feed schedules.

Custom Strain Guides.

Maintenance schedules - weekly - monthly.

Multiple scopes; my 100x is a PITA

equipment file for things like warranty - replacement life - inventory.

Perpetual Schedule

Potential Automation system research/design.

And maybe a medium inventory chart. I forgot I had so much rockwool, around 100$ worth, gotta use that shit. Plus for recycling medium.

I don't want to be reusing it more than once. Too many issues with nutes if I don't rinse it with an insanely stupid amount of water since I don't have a Recirculating system.

Hopefully I have enough calendars. I got 5 in my room and 2 are full of the outside garden stuff and one for house plants.

Oh shit, Theres more

Oh shit, Theres more

Hermie Action!

Sugar Cane Train #2 - On a serious note - I do need help with explaining the "seed" or pistil with no calyx but just an ovary? I'm very confused why this happens on plants - Ive seen it on other peoples and mine but can't find an explanation for it. Polinated pistils have hte hair change color and then they create the seed... but this... this is a seed forming on its own?

I'm pursuing this question and confusion and going to find out what the fuck this is and whats going on. Maybe its genetic?

#2 is a week behind #1 and looking like she could be better.

Heres the BATF F2

#2 - top of that is bleached - and those are all bananas - no pistils here.

I finished up the food and succulent gardens. I just need to do a little more for the ornamental but I situated them so that they are good for a while buying me time to focus on other plants (these)

Apart from the trees that need daily watering I got it down to pretty much the hose and some time using it

I been losing clones because I don't have enough light intensity so im going to find something to fix that.

Then its dialingi n the food. I'm going to go back to separate res's for bloom and veg, followed by some organization/paperwork/schedules and it should be harvest time.

Oh deep clean is on the horizon too.

I missed the farmers market today

whats up bro , digging the vids , I think your doing the best thing by starting to be more organized it works for me everytime I have problems ... I got a dry erase board to right feed rates and times and notes and I keep it right above the tent so when problems arise I can go back and check out what happen :tiphat:

looks super proper brother :joint: thats how I do it but I use square containers so I can max out my space

You can take 1 foot tall/long clones and put them in plugs too

hey 10ft the only thing about pushing down on the coco it compacts it ...making it less ariated...with the perlite in it they drain nicely as not to get too soggy...i wick em from the bottom to add water...DJXX

Thats beyond true - I've lost too much to pushing down on coco.

Now I put a thing layer on the bottom of the container. Sprinkle some benneficials and/or Rooting Hormone Powder( the cheap stuff) and then i place the cut or transplant into its alleged new home and pour coco around it till I need to level it out. Then I hold hte plant and shake or wobble hte container, not too violently - and i'll pat the sides of hte container too.

then water.

Passive Hydro is awesome!

 I hate when that happens !

just more pruning than I'm used too is all it turned into.

Took 20 glue cuts today. Have success with only 2 from the last round but thats been fixed - got me a 2' single bulb T5 for 20$ and set that sucker up.

Hay mon - we jammin'!

Been had the dry erase - just not the motivation/will for it.

Ultimately my organization is going to lead into customization which is what I really want.

Like Budcandy. Incorporating that back into my nute regime once the benneficials are at work. Also will need to do other things like ratios and comparisons of data.

problems arrise from me not focusing on one thing. Like my canna garden. I keep cycling thru everything going on in my life and its really been distracting me from this and thats the opposite of what I really want so I'm getting everything set in place and motion for success.

Only reason im having cloning trouble is because I'm not remembering everything I learnt, or should I say I'm not even thinking about shit to be honest... not all the time.

I should know better.

Smart... :yeahthats best move I ever made !

I'm on my 3rd notebook since I started growing. I started off with excel and word but that isn't efficient.

I also use calendars - I have 5 in my room and 3 are for the other gardens.

All of your girls looked stressed. The leaf claw, The Deficient look on them with burning. once they get to that stage there's not much you can do you might be able to mitigate more issues from happening once you find the issue.

What EC levels do you feed at?..... Take some runoff and check the EC levels. If the readings are 2x or more then what your feeding flush.. If it's not high something is causing them to show high levels. How often do you feed. When you up pot do you smell sulfur/rotten eggs? To much water will cause this then lead to root rot.

I know your using coco. I hope you find out whats going on this would drive me nanners ;)

I don't use 100% coco. I use a soil mix with coco in it.. I do not feed anything more than 1.3EC in flower with 55% Humic Acid, Kelp and compost Tea.. I use .3-.4 EC in veg with beneficial Mycorrhizal added.

Hope this helps..

I don't quit some shit I started so heres the beauty of 6/9 or any simple base feed...
Unless you've been using some other additives in flower the problem should be pretty easy to narrow down.
The veg plants look great and the flower plants look destroyed.
If they are both getting 6/9 from the same mixes except for the pk blasts you would have to figure its either the pk blasts or the temps in the closet, or a combination of both.
Since there are nanners everywhere Im going to assume the pk blasts have been overdone or misused.
The first pk blast was a disaster and I think he mentioned the same mix was going to be used the next day.
Anyhow, if there are other additives being used in flower Id suggest cutting them until you've eliminated all possibilities.
Good luck!

We gone figure it out later

We gone figure it out later

After Work.

I'm pretty happy with my results.

didn't expect the best when switching how I do everything.

The solution is the organization and then consistency.

Would be nice to have a res that does the watering and has the PH swing which is what I need to incorporate into my hand feeding/fresh made mixes.

So next time I start bloom its going to be at 6.3PH and a 1.0EC.

I'll creep the PH down over time to 5.8 by some later week in bloom and I hope to keep the EC 1.0 and or 1.2 depending on strain requirements.

Thanks for the info fellahs - Its going to be fun dialing this in

:smoke out:
