Hey,

So i just checked my plants and these is what I came home to :S. I wondering if its because i put the leds way to high :S. I did 18 inch from plant i heard 12 inch is optimal.

How can I fix these bent/broke looking stems :( Sorry im a newbie at growing first time. I really need to save them those are my important med plants those 2.

yeah, Im thinking maybe I should just clone them. and replant it after. Maybe to much water on the rockwool? and stem, maybe its causing damping.

yea that might be the best idea. you may have over fed them

what chart are you using? is it from seed? im sorry i cant be more helpful like i said soils my thing. try going easy on nutes 1st couple weeks. if its from seed then try to feed it minimum nutes until roots r established. then slowly raise the ec until u find its sweet spot. hope this helps.. give it ph'd water without chems to see if it survives. a bent stem is repairable

It looks like your getting the stems wet. Try putting the hose further away, or closer to the rockwool. Constant water on stems is not good.

Might be Damping :S. But ill try and thanks for the help, yes this was from seedling, so next time I shouldnt add nuts until there is a root system or just add a small amount? then once it gets bigger add a little more to see?

Yeah your so Right thats def the problem. ill movie it far away, or under the rockwool and let it just spray it that way.

You give that poor plant the ideal conditions for Pythium to form :(. The damage is severe, and I dont know if you can save them outside of cloning them. I hope you can save them though.

As to feeding seedlings, feed from first set of leaf emergence, and you'll be rewarded with fast growing plants. If you dont, you'll be stuck with slow growing plants. Start with 25ppm - 50ppm N from as early as day 2 or 3 and progress upwards to your desired N concentration.

You may even go higher to begin with. In the floriculture industry seedlings are fertigated at 125-200ppm N on a consistent basis. Ive never tried that high of ppm N on seedlings, but Ive witnessed as I increased they're feed from a very early age, the plants responded with improved vigor and growth.

I think if I was gonna do hydro from seed I'd go up to 4" cubes first.....get some size and roots before I threw em in the bucket...other than that looks like dampaning...take clones...sprout new seed...to bad they looked good

Yeah damn I figured by I'm trying to make clones hopefully it worked. Yeah I also think I transplanted to early and fed way to early. I'm swtuxhing to soil then after I get use to it I'll do hydro again. Maybe I'll do flood to drain or this dwc system again. Thanks for the help everyone

as u get comfortable with dirt.. then move on to coco.. then hydro etc. u can move straight to hydro as theres nothing wrong in doing so, but just make sure u do your research. but ye dont get discouraged.. ull get there
