Tiny insects bugs in Coco?

Been growing cannabis 15 years, 8 of which indoors. Never seen these insects before. Was using Atami Bcuzz coco. Got a great deal on a pallet of Botanicare Coco Grow so I though I would give it a shot. Not sure if they were in the coco but it is the only significant change/introduction to my garden in some time now that I can recall. They do not appear to be damaging the plants ATM. I just don't like ANY bugs in my grows. Good/bad/indifferent they all have to die.

They are whitish to light brown .5-1.5mm long. Slim body, appear to have 6 legs and large antennas. Almost look like a flea/beetle.

No. It's botanicares "new" fluffy stuff. "High pith coco coir" called "Coco Grow" great looking/feeling coco. Amazing for the price really. I would like for the coco to not be contaminated...

I think you got crabs.

You may need to shave to help get rid of them. Better then a lice brush through the pubes. :)

I can't figure out what those are. I just thought I would stop by and be a smart ass. :)

Those are exactly what they are springtails they eat dead roots and bad bacteria. Goodbudz insecticidal soap and mosquito dunks will kill them.

I'm on it brotha! Love those dunks for gnats. Glad to know they will work on these springtails. Shouldn't be too hard to get rid of these then.

Springtails are just a harmless decomposer...

Well Sea, still freaky for me to see so many little insects in my "insect free" garden! They are dying quickly. Let the pots all dry an extra day. Going in with a feeding on top of crushed dunks today that I had laying around. Then I'm gonna let the pots dry up again and hopefully they will be gone. You are welcome to come collect some if you want some extra decomposers!
