So anyone have any experience with using these with an enclosed fixture? I'd like to hear good or bad opinions.

I've been thinking about using one on my 1k but dont want to lower my yield.

Don't waste your money. All of mine are now in the garbage!! They create a massive dark spot right under the friggin bulb. Plant growth was VERY slowed with them. I took them off my fixtures after 1 week of flowering. $$$ down the drain.

Why would anyone get one? I've used many 1000 watt bulbs and have never had any issues with hotspots, nor have any of my friends who also use them. It's a nonexistent problem.

Thanks Stagger, I will go on that.

And Rollout I was asking because some strains grow best in indirect light, and some other strains hate being right under the bulb. Just looking for opinions on them not necessarily because there is a problem.

Probably more, I can't remember them all. And what kind of answer is that? Do you not know? Or are you just a natural douchebag?

Well what I was getting at is 25 strains isnt really that many so if you haven't seen a strain that performs best in indirect light out of 25 strains isn't saying much. And if you've never tried it how would you know if something performs better with indirect light as opposed to full light?

I thought your first post in this thread was useless, I am looking for real answer not nonsense that's why I gave you a nonsense reply right back.

There's always indirect light in any grow room, regardless if you're trying to do it on purpose or not. And 25 strains is a lot when you don't do multistrain grows. I generally prefer monocrop grows, and if I do any multistrain grows I never put more than 1 strain per light/table. I spent over a year just growing pre-98 Bubba and nothing else, so 25 strains in my case represents a lot of experience.
