Hey ECH good to see you in my thread.

That little tent is a Lighthouse Hydro brand 18"D x 30"W x 35"H so roughly 1.5 x 2.5 x 3 feet and it was intended for clones and seedlings and stuff I believe.

http://www.gothamhydroponics.com/growtents/lighthouse-hydro-grow-tent-2-5x1-5x3.html

I wish I had more space right now to have it setup, it would make about a perfect veg tent for my new flowering tent. I have a 11" x 23" footprint mini veg cab right now which would be excellent for mini mothers, clones and seedlings, then move to the LH mini tent for veg and then into flower tent but unfortunately not going to work that way in my current location but would be a cool setup.

Oh well its a pretty cool little tent that I grew in for a couple years and did me alright for what it is, someday Im sure I will use it again for clones/seedlings/mothers or vegging.

Thanks for the compliments on the buds too.

Little update Day 27 from seed, getting a bit further along. Have defoliated the main fan leaves pretty heavily to get some light to the lower branching sites. I also took a cut off each one a couple days ago, hoping they root or I will take another cut if necessary.

OXs back left, PBs on right and SJs in front left/center.

Have been using only Floranova Bloom on both the SJ clones in 100% coco coir. Last two waterings I used Floralicious Plus on one SJ that I marked so that test has started too. A bit early to tell but the FL+ cut looks a little deeper green on the new growth though both are looking healthy now that I upped the PPM to around 435ppm or .87EC. This is my first time playing with coco and synthetic nutes as an experiment and is going pretty good so far, no pH adjusting just mixing FNB with RO water to a target ppm and water it in. My pH meter was going wacky so I said screw it and they are actually looking healthier now than when I was trying to adjust pH, go figure. So far anyway. Hand watering them drain to waste with substantial runoff each feeding.

What are you using for soil mix Mr. Bueno?

Recycled FF Ocean Forest re-amended with a bunch of wormcastings, just over a cup of high P bat guano, a little less than 1/4 cup dolomite lime, maybe 1/4 cup soft rock phosphate, and just less than a half cup crab shell. All stuff I had around that I used up on this mix. Mixed really well and then put into 5 gallon buckets and wet/moistened with some lactobacillus serum to accelerate composting. That got mixed up once or twice while cooking in the buckets for a good 6 weeks or more until I needed to use it. I then added a few red cups of coco coir to the pile and mixed pretty well again before filling the 2 gallon bags at transplant time.

Not really a great mix that I would recommend but its what I had around and decided to just use up what I had. Seems to be working decent so far.

Late night plant gazing, I opened the tent to take a gander. Crazy how much healthier they look a few hours after watering they perked up quite a bit. They are filling the footprint pretty quick and stacking nodes at the growth tips, should probably flip to 12/12 soon. A few more days or a week max I think. The two larger on the right are feminized and the two in the front are female clones, the 4 in the middle/upper left are regular m/f seeds so depending on how many males if any I could be cramped for space or not.

Congrats to your new record Bueno! This round is also looking very promising! The footprint of your new lights looks very even, so with more lumens and better spectrum, this will get interesting!

Have you ever tried, or thought about using screen(s) of green?

Thanks cg

The health of these plants is amazing me under these LEDs and I am also surprised by the brightness of the light and how well it covers the 6 sq ft footprint with only ~190w of LED dissipation and 220w total draw at the plug. The whole new lighting system this round operates around 42-43% efficiency (COBs ~42%, R/B LEDs ~45% I believe IIRC).

I know I wont be getting 1GPW again this round with these strains but Im ok with that.

I have done SCROG before a couple times, I like it in some ways but I like growing several bushy plants better either topped/FIMd, LST, or both.

The footprint of the tent is getting filled in pretty decent and last night I decided today would be the first day of 12/12. Pics from last night, Day 28 from seed, Day 0 12/12. Today is Day 29 from seed and Day 1 12/12.

Here are the SJ clones Im doing the coco test on, the one with blue tape pieces on it is the one thats also getting Floralicious Plus (FL+) and they both are getting Floranova Bloom (FNB) 1 part base nutrient.

The Mutant Runt still not wanting to grow properly, not sure how much longer I am going to nurse this one. It will start to look like its going to grow normal and then the growth tips will do some weird mutation again, just doesnt want to snap out of it. Its in the corner of the tent for now.

You're gonna love the ox

Im hoping so though I dont see how it could really be anything but dankness given the genetics. They are growing 11 bladed leaves on the OXs, havent seen those in a long time if ever on any plants of my own, hard to remember.

I think the OXs and PKxBKs will be very good, really cant wait to see how they turn out.

Have you grown the OX before?

Damn those are impressive plants for 28 days from seed!!!

Looking forward to seeing how much these stretch. Seems like when I put seed plants in about that size they stretch to 5ft+ tall.

Your recent runs have been with plants that are more single main cola growth pattern. These girls look really branchy, I think you're gonna have a jungle on yer hands!

Hey Blynx good to see your checking in on the thread.

Yeah they arent too bad for their age, the PB4 is plenty big for its age and the others maybe a little less vigor than most I have grown but not a whole lot less. I think the deep red LEDs may have helped with the branching growing out so well but I dont know they had pretty much just started to branch out under the 3000K COBs alone before I put the red/blue LED bars in but not this much.

I usually top my plants to get multiple main colas around the same height for a pretty even canopy but didnt top these Bubba hybrids at all (SJ clones are topped twice each) the main stalk wasnt stretching up tall on these so I just defoliated a bunch of the main fan leaves to get some light to the branching sites and seems to have worked alright in getting them to bush out without topping or LST on these particular varieties.

I dont think they will stretch all that much from what I have read, the tallest PB4 and the two SJ clones will be the tallest of the bunch I bet. Will have to wait and see though.

if i go thru all of the pages do you explain how to build these lights?

amazing show

Thanks for stoppin in.

No, I kind of started to at the beginning of the thread but it was too much typing and I didnt want the thread to be about a tutorial more about the growing and showing the capabilities of these LEDs.

The info is all out there already though, pretty much a one stop place to research DIY LEDs and look at tutorials is on rollitup in the LED and other lighting subforum. Tons of info to be read there if your looking into this more.

I have enjoyed a good weight of the ox, but never grown.

Curing bud pics of a little popcorn bud from the Blackberry Kush clone only x CSG Chemmy Jones male pheno #2 from last run. Shit is super frosty definitely frostiest bud Ive grown yet, the trichome stalks are longer in length than usual for me.

For a refresher of which pheno this is, here is the plant in flower day 56 12/12.

And the curing bud pics at about 11 or so days curing in the jar.
