I just got a ticket to your show. Nice!
So I moved into my new place last November. Next door neighbor is a good guy. Hippy in his mid sixty's n' shit. So we hang out on his deck, drink beer, and wish we knew where to score some smoke.
I say I'm gonna go talk to a pal of mine. Instead I come back over to my house, grab some weed n' head to the store to get smokes.
Show back up with some smoke from my 'friend' and we fuckin' blaze.
So I get a call from a life long friend of mine, apartment building caught on fire, needs a place for him, his wife, n' three kids. I offer my place.
They left this morning.
In the meantime I needed a place to keep some plants. Hippy guy tells me he'd be glad to help out baby sitting. (rule number one is now officially broken)
I gave him some 4ft. floro tubes, and instructions to keep everything under 24hr light. So you can imagine how stoked I felt this morning walking over to find white roots pouring out from the peatpucks...
Was not the fuckin' case my friends.
I asked why the lights were off.
He explained that keeping them on a 12/12 lighting schedule promoted faster, healthier growth.
'I didn't know that' was all I could reply.
Luckily some of the clones managed to survive....and instead of letting them air prune like I explained to him...he decided to 'share' the soil by digging dirt outta the large pots and filling small peat/coco pots with it.
Luckily he didn't mark the Strawberry Blue from the #8's...so I have a nice hodgepodge going on....
I should have just killed everything in retrospect.
...there is a silver lining however.... he offered me some reading material...
I gotta get to work....but when I return in a few hours...I should have a new plan devised...

re: lookin' like their flowering. I was told they went into 12/12 seven days ago...but they had been under 48hrs of darkness before I picked them up. So I have absolutely no clue where I stand with them. Heavily over watered and all the clones are spitting pistols something fierce. I'm hoping to reverse any damage done with 24hr light.
Well I sat in the hallway, had a lil' cry to make myself feel better...and I think it worked.
I pruned all the dead shit off of the mini moms, and did what I could for the clones. Everyones back under 24hr light...so we'll see wtf happens.
But why wait?
Gonna try this again starting tomorrow....

I apologize for the fuckaroundary. The 3 clones that were supposed to go into flower the other day needed some time to recover from me snappin' their lil' necks to keep an even canopy.
Lights are off now though, so Day 1 of 12/12. (fuckin' finally)

The MedMan gear is unfuckn' believable.

Oh...and I'm completely buggered on how I wanna set up my new room.
I've an 8x11ft space doing nothing, and 45A worth of power if I need/want... and no idea how I wanna set it up.
-I could run sealed, but need a bigger AC
-I could run passive intake utilizing cold Canadian air to cool the room.
-I could split the room.
-400w of lights or 4000w of lights.
-vertical or horizontal.
-scrub the air from the grow to heat my house....
...fucked if I know.
All I do know for certain is everything I've got is gonna veg until Sept. 30th...n' them everything is going into flower....have me some smoke for the holidaze...

a decision has to be made, I noticed these are for sale in oz made in Canada= 8oo bloody bucks aus. have you heard anything about them 5th? setting up rooms and changing never seems to stop around here, keep the grind going mate.
The one I saw like it had a stainless finish instead of a matte finish. Hard to scale the size from the pic but the dude returning it to the hydro shop (where they rent them) was not fuckin' pleased.

You have a month to get that room set up, don't procrastinate! Even the simplest builds take longer than expected.

So I guess that answers that. Even two 3x3 spaces covered with 600w each...well actually...it's not like I have alot of plants...nah scratch that..

Since nothing is really sexed, I'll make light adjustments as I go along.
Now I need a thermo-sensor type thing to tell my fan when to turn on n' shut off. Any suggestions anyone?
