Day 15

Its time to flip if I wait any longer Ill be sorry. These are growing much faster than expected. They are the same size I flipped in the last posted run and a week earlier. Seems like the foliars must be working or maybe the soil is a dialed a bit better with the analysis and amending :) heh...

Sorry if I missed it but how do you plan on staking them up or otherwise supporting them once they need it? Things are looking great in here.

I throw everything I don't use back in the soil. Why compost it anywhere else? I prefer to create humus rather than buy it...maybe I forget the potting soil that gets added at transplant. But over the yrs I end up with extra pots of soil somehow

In my mind better to compost elsewhere and not risk promoting cannabis-centric pests or disease in the bed..

Wow looking super happy and healthy in here Father Earth :good:
Bring on the flower time :D
:plant grow:

I just ordered the sea-shield. I wanted to see if I could see any benefits when soil drenched.

I have been tinkering with the idea of making a crab/shrimp tea for a while now. Honestly I just want to see the consistency of their product. If it is a mere fermented extract then I will utilize the hundreds of pounds of crab meal, and shrimp meal I have. :)

Their line up seems to be treating you well. Your room is looking awesome!

Ill have to say that this room is a real jungle. It seems as though they arent responding very quickly to 12/12 but on closer inspection they have turned into thick jungle bushes. So thick you cannot see anything inside nada. I went and trimmed up bottom branches and inners and really cleaned them up. The grass in the beds that have it, is laying down thick. Long blades of oats here and there poking out.. I was foliar feeding today and for a second I felt a bit overwhelmed by the garden. Ill say by the time its done there is going to be a lot of ganja. The flower set is/ was ridiculous. I reduced quite a bit of foliage, they did not miss a beat.. Well a GG4 I topped a few weeks back stopped growing all together after I topped it. The other three are dwarfing the stunted glue. The Glue is the biggest bed in the room, and just rubbing of the branches from the fan blowing makes a wonderful smelling terpene profile...Its going to be good, still waiting for them to look like they are stacking flowers, seems like they have only filled in with more bud sites to stack, almost zero stretch on the whole garden. I think we are at day 10 of flowering so stretch should almost be over.. wow

MJ,
Yes Ill be testing cannabinoid levels as well as terpenes once they are dried and a quick two week curing. Ill probably try the freezer drying method to preserve as many terpenes for the test as possible. Maybe do one with and one without to see how many terpenes are actually saved in the process. Ill most certainly be posting the results :) Ill try and get some snaps of the girls up, its been a busy week...

Tried this for the 1st time, and I am completely sold on this method. Works great for me. Its the only way I will dry/cure from now on.

The garden is looking great btw

Marlo,

I havent read the whole freezer dry cure thread but I get the idea. Have you had anything tested using that method? Has anyone in that thread done such? It makes sense, I just have to see if it can make it work without fail.. Then try and figure out how to do it on a large scale..
