California OG

Hi guys and gals. I have been asking different breeders which of their seeds is closest the that "California OG" bud. By "California OG"....let me elaborate....I spent a bit of time in Cali...tried some Fire OG....tried some "Mike's OG" tried lots of OG's....there was a certain high and taste that I just NEED in seed form so I can grow it in my little spot FAR FAR away from Cali.....

Anyways...just wondering which seed form cannabis is close to these types of OG's. Thanks you all in advance.

Get seeds from Cali Connection, they got all those og-fuel type strains, but there are soo many by now, its basicly all the same, but there are subtleties that come out when grown properly. I have like no experience growing these Ladies just smoking em and they have been chased down and hoarded in every town. On top of that they are soo goddamn loud you are going to need carbon filters out the ass. Good luck on your hunt but pretty sure Cali Conn, Resevoir or try greenhouses Chemdog. PAX!

Don't by CaliConMan gear....terrible advice. And certainly, CERTAINLY, don't get Greenhouse "Chemdog" and expect it to be anything like what you are after...

Get stuff from Rare Dankness, Karma Genetics, Archive...to name a few...

There are others as well - but TRUE "OG" isn't in seed form - it's a clone. The reason people pursue the clones - is because the seeds aren't the same...

If you're going FARRRRRRR away from Cali - lol - you can call pretty much any homegrown decent looking flowers "OG" and people are none the wiser...

But that being said - my (Hindu Kush x Skunk#1) x C99 - was more sought after and desired by locals than the imported "OG"...

So what does that tell you? If you grow it right, it won't matter too much what it is - even without a fancy name. Good smoke is good smoke. And unless everyone you in a circle of growers that truly know the difference between A+ and A+++ - it won't make a difference any how...

I have just personally found it pretty tough running across genetics that are anywhere near what I was used to in Cali. I know some of it has to do with the fact I haven't popped a whole bunch of seeds, but I have to imagine someone can point me in the right direction. I could care less about what other's think about the pot, it's all for personal anyways.

I´ve also been after a good OG representation in Seed, since I´m very far from cali / USA ..... I´ve heard karma seeds pop up in many of my research as having the OG locke down in his seeds, I´d probably go with happy brother OG, or Biker Kush.......

also check out the guys that are making de Gorila Glue S1´s .... probably some dank fenos can be found in seeds!

All outstanding breeders with Cali OG offerings that are hard to beat.

Wifi from OGRaskal is your best bet bro plus the white increases the yield and you wont have to sort through males. If u go w caliconnect you just might end up w some trainwreck smelling sativa dom herb if you cant pop a huge selection. Best of luck on the hunt

I stopped reading at Cali Con... god damn GHS chemdog? how do you hoard a seed strain made by the biggest commercial hacks in the biz? I don't believe you are from cali or you are to young to have ever smoked any real OG/Chem to recommend that junk.

If you want anything vlose to a real OG in seed form its Archive or nothing...

If you want classic OG in seeds, you will probably get the best results growing S1s from the SFV or other Cali clone of OG. OG Kush does self well and the seeds will have certain phenotypes that are just like the OG cutting. There are a few companies that have S1s available. Reserva Privada has S1s and S2s of OG Kush. I think they used the SFV cut. Look around, I don't recommend male/female seeds though(just in this case!), OG should be feminized if it is pure still.

FWIW - I've grown Brotherhood OG - and it really wasn't very OG'ish - more hybrid in it's expressions, but certainly some fire smoke. It had the flavor and a mixed high of the Happy Brother - so it really didn't taste or smoke exactly like a pure OG.

Karma said he was going to drop some Biker Kush v2 here at the end of the month - if I were you, that's what my eyes would be on...that or his White OG v2.

Basically - Karma's gear is top notch all day every day. I NEVER hesitate to grow his stuff out...I know it will always be some of the best in my garden...

The first reminds me of some of the sativa sided og's I was privy to. The second looks like the mike's og I was privy to. Still sativa sided but og smell, og taste, correct?
