You are getting fading fan leaves and fading bud leaves confused.
Drop the pk too soon or for too long and watch the buds fade... Guaranteed shit weed & hay smell!
When the tips of the buds start fading the weed is dying!

yea... Ive been feeding lightly and if I try and cut their life support of pk they get pissed and feel dry to the touch on the vine...
Ive been going back to undiluted 6/9 just because of the trouble Ive had at the end.
I havent been noticing any tip burn on full strength since I stopped the liquid pk blasts from the recipe.
Think Im going to just stick with it this way. Its been working without any runoff.
I had been adding a little epsom for awhile, but straight 6/9 is what the girls tell me they want the most!
Just a few days of pure water has worked best both ways for me, but Ive also tapered their N down instead of cutting it.

Nice harvey man!

Nice harvey man!

The hash looks bomb tooo

Curious about the flush because rezdog's flush in his recipe is scheduled for an 8 week strain.

How long did the kosher go for? And how did or do you modify his recipe for the flushing sequence of the bloom phase?

"Day 52-63 (Flush)
5.5-6.0 pH h20 at 50 ppm"

Thats almost 10 days of flush and im curious if you tried it his way before.

Thanks - and again - nice nugs - camera aint so bad man... atleast you taking shots and putting them up :joint:

Just got off the phone with a commercial dude Ive known since I was a kid who said they all give plain water for 3-5 days using the gh 3 part schedule with the powder...
Id recommend not going longer than 5 days
If you notice the tips of your buds looking like they are burned I would cut them right away
None of your veggies or tobacco was ever flushed
Im not sure how long the kosher went for because I dont sleep or keep track of time
The only way to find out would be to find the post where I put it into flower and then take a guess as to how long I dried it for...
Shit is bomb like chocolate dog shit dank

I'm two weeks into bloom trying to do it exactly like this, so you have dropped the Epsom completely? From in veg also? I want to try to replicate your nute feeding. Only difference is I add 1ml/gal DC and use blumats.

I was warned never to go over 1.2 with blumats.
I didnt listen and my plants burned.
6/9 is just slightly over, so it should be kosher.
Its up to you homie.
I dropped epsom because I saw no benefit and it raised my ec more than I thought it should have.
That caused me to underfeed my plants because I diluted it further.
Id rather get the mag from the bloom bottle.
It probably could have just been added on top of the base without burning though.
I use the same tank for veg & flower.
Thinking of running two tanks with the 3part schedule (base only) vs 6/9

Well if I drop the Epsom my 1.25ec 6/9 will go down. I'm all for getting rid of nonessential stuff. I used the GH 3 part for 10 years in soil. It rocked. I just started feeding my clones and veggers a couple weeks ago with Maxigrow at 1.25 ec, only because it's cheeeeep. Plants love it, soon as they go on the blumats its 6/9.

the 3 part schedule is a rip off though...
theres nothing in the grow bottle that isnt in the micro and bloom bottles...
The program is like 50 times more expensive than 6/9 would be if you use the additives and cailmagic.
Its something like 250-300 a run in a 4x8.
I spend like 200 on nutes for several runs in a full 9x10.
Im willing to run the 3 part base though just to see how 6/9 stacks up

I would be interested to see how the 3 part base alone without additives does. Maybe tweak the mid to late flower numbers a tiny bit to offset the lack of KB.

I ran only the 3 part on their schedule for almost 10 years in soil. Good stuff and easy. Only problem was I succumbed to the hype and tried to add koolbloom powder and others in bloom. No matter how weak a dose I used I always burned them some. Had the best buds when I didn't mess with the powdered bloom additives. But that was soil :tiphat:
