Phresh HyperFan Reducer Problems. HELP...

Hey guys, I need some help with my hyperfan and reducer.

I have a 8" Can Filter and a 10" Phresh hyperfan. I bought a 10" to 8" reducer so I can connect the fan to the filter but the reducer will not fit the hyperfan on the 10" side and is loose when connecting to the filter on the 8" side.

Is there a way I can make the reducer fit the hyperfan? Can I just have the 8" side loose when connecting to the filter and duct tape it to make it as airtight as possible?

What I'm thinking of doing if I can't find a way to make the reducer fit the hyperfan is to connect the filter to the reducer, duct tape the loose parts, connect 10" ducting to the reducer, then have the hyperfan connect to the ducting instead of directly to the reducer. Will this work?

My other question is will a 750 cfm fan be enough for 4 air cooled 1000 watt hoods?

Thanks!

Never use Duct tape use Aluminum tape that's what its for. it's OK if its a little lose just use the tape to seal it up. the 10" side of the reducer needs to be cut. They sale scissors just for this problem. after its cut bend them all out. The fan will fit now seal it up with AL tape and short self tapping screws if needed. I didn't this to my 12"..

Im gonna say no. 750 cfm for 4kw.. I would up it to a 12" 1100CFM MIN...Or 1 10" for ea 2 lights.. The more CFM the better.
