Veggie picture update!

First shot is of just forming chocolate peppers, next is the male part of the corn. I still haven't gotten any female silks to open up but they have started growing out. Going to be hand pollinating them in the next couple days for a week or two.

So the new room is wired up from a 20 amp 220 breaker directly to my t104. That took a bunch of trips to the hardware store but it's done.

I ran about 100 ft of #8 to the spot next door for 40 amps about 3 months ago, and I'm reluctant to tear it all down, lol.

Next up, I said fuck it and drilled a hole in the eaves of my house. The drainage tuns are going to drain straight outside via gravity. Super stoked on this one. This also is letting me use smaller catch trays. The current ones are 18 inches tall. These are only 9. I am also rebuilding the tables to accommodate the lower height, as well as cutting out the middle for a fan and airflow.

Right now the current plan is for 5 trays. I'm not sure if the room is getting divided yet or not. I need to drop the bulbs and get these trays in there today. More pixs of the above and everything to come very soon.

Back to work!

So the CSH have definitely been clawing a little. They got maxibloom for a few days before my jacks arrived, I'm not sure if that is the culprit.

It seems to be happening mostly on the tops, and not at all on the spots nearer the bulb. I have the top of the socket at the top of the highest top so they should be getting less light than the middle of the plant

Not sure what this all adds up to. They look healthy otherwise and things are not getting worse very quickly. Definitely look better than last round which yielded at least a #. I expect two this time around.

Anyways. Here's some pics!

The EC stayed under 1.3 and they are getting about that right now from the Jack's... I thinking MB is probably the culprit but with so many changes going on their environment hasn't been super steady either. Not too hot, but possibly too humid and cool.

Either way i think theyll be fine im going to get them in the new flower room here very soon.

Those billboard tarps look pretty rad, and the used ones are cheap! http://www.billboardtarps.com/collections/odd-sizes

I actually got an email back from them. They sell brand new unprinted tarp in black and white. The rep recommended that for pond liner and assured me it had no "pin holes" like the used ones could possibly have.

He quoted me @ ~$200 to my door for a 25'x35' piece. Seemed legit but i decided to save funds and just run with b/w poly thus round.

I've made 7 trips to the hardware store in the last 3 days. 3 today just to get this damn RO hooked up. I had the parts I needed, or so I thought, EVERY TIME I left the hardware store, but every time I'd end up with a slow leak.

I got it handled now but it took way too much time outta my day... I'm gonna try to get the trays in there tonight and hopefully get the drainage hooked up. It's getting warm in there with the lights on so another DIY swamp cooler needs to be built ASAP...

The list goes on and on. So much to do, so little time...

Fight the good fight, this is the grind and there's no getting around; only through.

I like what I see so far!

Has anyone used Jack's Blossom booster? I'm thinking of only having two reservoirs and running jacks + calnit in one and blossom booster in the other, and alternating feeds in flower...

Trellising is killing me. Trying to design something sturdy and tall with these trays is not working out...

I'm off to jerry rig it together and see how it ends up!

I've been looking into building some DIY foggers but I just don't know if they will make any difference with fresh dry mountain air constantly being brought in. Outdoor temps here will be hitting 75-85*F in the coming months, and nightime temps won't be going about 50*F. Biggest problem is the air is SO DRY. So low that outside the grow space, most of my hygrometers won't even show a reading.

Would foggers help my situation? Any idea on sizing/# needed?

I found this interesting your post made me think of it www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxSLbpAwibg

I thought about using it but decided against it because it would increase the humidity it is humid enough where I live and this would definitely raise the humidity over time if ran in an enclosed room. If you just use room temp water it would only cause a minor cooling effect.

If you look back afew pages, I made a DIY evaporative cooler out of aswamp cooler pad, a box fan, a Rubbermaid bin, a pump and some drip line. It increased my humidity 15-30% and reduced temps 10-15 degrees. This was in a sectioned of part of the flower room with a 1k, but I noticed 5-10% higher readings throughout the building.

I'm building a second one as we speak.

I was thinking to myself as I was posting..... I should probably read through the rest of the thread you've probably solved it by now.

So now I've gotten like 20 hours of sleep in the last 2 days. I came down with a head cold or sinus infection, probably because of lack of health and overworking myself. I tend to be overly prone to sinus infections due to allergies...

Anyways I'm feeling MUCH better today. Nothing catastrophic has happened and I've somehow kept everything going. After today things should be almost ready to flip. Maybe Tuesday I can do so.
