What's the current state of seed shipping?

Just looking for updates on seed shipping successes and failures mid-2014. Are 'legal' states seeing more successful deliveries than non-legal states? Any recent examples of stalled or seized packages in certain regions? New notification or prosecution efforts in given areas?

Haven't seen many success or failure posts lately and hoping to hear a few stories about how those tiny packages are being handled.

Kindest - just from personal experience with asking for help with seed transportation, it's very cut throat here. From what I've now learned it's super easy to hide them and ship them. Maybe a box full of BIC pens with the ink removed from the inside has sufficient space to store something small

and to add what Coconutz said, I believe he was talking about the packaging the breeders use to safe keep the seeds, he is recommending removing them from the packaging. Please clarify Coconutz if I am incorrect.

That's cool, just curious about recent risk of seizures, etc. Would eventually love some new genetics from the Bay but am paranoid like most. "Don't mail to the grow addy" is good advice but tough to follow for some. Mailing a package to a friend, etc opens up conversations that break the main rule of growing.

Sent cash in an envelope, across an ocean, got my seeds and freebies in a week from putting my cash in the mail. Cost me just over 3 dollars for stamps.

Oh, I will say the extra nice thing is that every step that happens, you get an email update. I got emails sayin, we got your money, we r processing the order, your order has shipped, your tracking number, keeping you informed.

Since this was cash, I could have got a "we never got your payment" but as you can see these guys r all about good business and reputation. Deal with these guys if you want real genetics and awesome customer service.

Oh and these guys r fast, from getting the money email to my order was shipped was same day... woke up in the morning and had 3 update emails from them.

my order last came through 5 months ago no problems. However, since I'm in the US, I always order from Canada. I just think its safer. Haven't had any problems yet.
If you're in europe, others would be better.

Multiple orders this year from the Seed Boutique were all successful.
I send money orders each time.

My assumption is the seed distributor who have delivery problems also have a full page ad in the High Times magazine.

in over 10 years ive never had a problem with bay/boo orders, i tried a different seedbank cause bay/boo doesnt carry what i was looking for & got the greentape & letter today
got a nifty shirt though

My recent order was mailed 6 weeks ago to Seed Boutique.

Have not received the beans yet. It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks.

After over 20 successful orders received, I feel the success streak has come to an end.

Btw, the order placed was for $140.

Got the green tape on a 'tude order last month. Reship came via different means and arrived OK.

I don't think legal/non-legal state will impact the likelihood of your package showing up; everything goes through customs. Choose a reliable shipper, with a guaranteed shipping option, and pray for no green tape ;-)

Customs doesn't care where it's going. They care that it came in from overseas along with an enormous river of other mail. The objective for shippers is for their parcels to blend right in, attract as little attention as possible. Plain padded mailers do that very well. Other stuff does too, I'm sure. Removing seeds from breeder packs provides the most ordinary packaging of all, I think.

It's all about the luck of the draw from this end. Don't expect to win all the time.

1 for 2 orders..... only been a week since my 2nd order was shipped but...... not a good feelin when my last order arrived much quicker.... im hopin my order was accidently done the cheaper way since the royal air sure last time took like 2 or 3 days....

Gonna die if I lose the beans in that order... sour jack ka4ma, and biker kush hybrids freebie.... to lose that would really hurt
