Sorry about the HPS photo. Will sort something out for that next update.

12 big plants are unknown and will most likely hermie (were just for practice, I needed it)

In the small pots
White Widow x Big Bud - 20 Seeds
LSD Feminised Seeds - 5 Seeds
Caseys Widow Feminised Freebie - 2 Seeds
White Ice Feminised Freebie - 2 Seeds
White Cindy Feminised Freebie - 2 Seeds
Widowmaker Feminised Freebie - 2 Seeds
Red Purps Fem - 2 Seeds

Should be 47 plants if everything comes up. Going to be busy.

Was short changed 5 LSD seeds from the seedbank.. bit disappointing, but grow on

I don't have much of a clue what I'm doing, been a long while... but hoping for a bit of good luck.

Couple of strawberries and a raspberry in there as well to avoid winter.

Thanks! I quite like busy, but decided to get some of the larger plants out of the way and into flower as I veg up the new seeds. Found a closet and a 600 watt light. The canopy isn't all that even, but figured it gives me something interesting to watch as the seeds do not much.

The seeds are feminised, so I'm not hoping for any males. Can always double the space later on in the main room... or triple.. whatever seems the best plan at the time.

Welcome klondike_kid, Chunkypigs and DeoXy.

I bought one of those ebay grow tents.. 3.0m x 1.5m x 2.0m. Cost $300 and kinda blew the budget, but it would have cost that much to extend the room myself anyway. I hear they can be a bit wonky, but I can reinforce it where need be.

I'd really like to buy another 1000 watt light but just don't have the funds. I will have to use a 400 watt and 600 watt that I already have for one side if I can't magic $400 from somewhere.

I can get 34cm pots which will fill the space with soil nicely. Will most likely lino the bottom of the grow tent to make a watering tray.

So this is the layout I'm thinking of... it's a while off this, but have to do something while waiting for all my beans to pop... you have to have a vision!

hi bro,
i have one spot like you want but with two lamps 600W.
i chose that layout because many factor:
the intensity of light is more balanced in all grow;
you can use the lamps with adjust-a-wing and cover up all area;
is more efficient if you want use cool tubes...

take care....

Ganzas, looks like you have a sweet setup. Would love some cool tubes, they look like the ticket for summer.

thanks friend!

with 1000W each maybe is more efficient use cool tubes mainly in summer.
beyond the heat with cooltubes can you keep the bulbs closer to the plants and the plants benefit most from it.
with cooltubes, the extraction of air is less efficient because inside the tubes have lamps. so, i advice you to use the second layout ''i would like'' because of efficiency.
keep it simply with minimum of curves and corners.

You can always get two 1000w dimmables and turn them down to 600w or lower during the hottest days.. I'm currently running two 600w Lumatek dimmables in adjust-A-wings and I'm able to have 12 plants under In a 5x5ft area with even light coverage and still with room/light to spare.. works out to 100w per plant.

Not sure if I can get Adjust-A-Wings here, so they might not be an option. Cool tubes and knock-offs seem readily available though. So I might get a quote for that. Don't have the cash available at the moment, but it might be a possibility for the future.

Thanks for the ideas :)

What did you grow in the past if I may ask? What are you most looking forward to from your current project?

"What did you grow in the past if I may ask? What are you most looking forward to from your current project?"

Hey Deoxy. It's been a long time since I've grown anything, or even had a 'normal' garden. Circumstances and life tore me away from the soil. I'm very happy to be back and getting my fingernails dirty once again. I've grown a lot of different things in the past, even run a small market garden. As far as cannabis is concerned, mostly I enjoy the outdoor season and haze #1 has to be one of my favourite strains mainly because I think the plant looks magnificent. I'm really looking forward to that sun warming up!

'What am I looking most forward to in my current project?' is a really hard question. I put some thought into it and still don't really know. I want to think I still have my green thumb, and nothing pleases me more to look into a room of healthy plants, but this round is most definitely not going to be without it's hiccups. I feel more disconnected with my plants than I used to feel. Perhaps I need a good dose of psychedelics to find that connection again, but I'm guessing I'm just out of practice.

Anyway, the plants stuffed in the very hot cupboard are stretching away. Temps are up to 30C in there and just put a fan in yesterday (bad father!).

Welcome to space!

Got my new room. Vegged mostly under a 400watt.. now on 1000watt. Half the room is busy. Thinking of doing the 4 big plants as my outdoor grow. I'm tying them down heavily to try to keep them under control. Give them a massive head start so I can crop up the yard big when this lot is done. Got another 2 months grow before they hit the sun (should be big in another 2 months). Have a few plants less than I imagined cause of germination fail, but can make do anyway with what I have.

The other plants that were in the cupboard I threw outside to flower in winter (will post a photo later). I figured it was a bit of a waste of power and the sun is free. They are surviving the frost, but have kind of wet feet. Can't control the free weather unfortunately.

Also started some seeds out in the bush as a winter experiment. Don't expect much out of it, but a fun little side project and can help me find unvisited areas that can be used again in summer. Might visit in about a month and see if anything came up.

Having loads of fun so far. I seem to be splitting things into multiple projects. Not really sure if it's the right thing to do, but it's interesting at least!

Here are the plants I put outside. They are VERY slow to start flowering. Dealing with the frosty nights quite well though.

Had a mixture of problems with these plants. They are the ones I plan flowering indoors. Finally got a PH tester and dealing with the very acid soil with some lime. I think it will come good.

These are the 4 plants that I am going to use for the outdoor season. Two months to go until they even go out. They are going to be big :)

Didn't get around top watering the bush project. Will have to start that one again :)
