Lazarat, Albania - looking for information

I have been fascinated by this so called Albanian cannabis capital for some time, and have decided to take a trip there sometime this fall with my brother.

Having searched the net a bit for information on what to expect in Lazarat, there really isn't much to find except for the odd story of a police barracks burned to the ground by the citizens, of police roadblocks on the roads out of Lazarat, or of police not having entered the town since 2008.

So i'd like information from anyone that knows anything about the place Are there hotels or rooms for rent? How are visitors treated? Is cannabis all around or do you have to search a bit for it? How about getting to see some farms and meet the farmers?

Any information greatly appreciated!

never been to lazarat yet but i know lots of people from there.
i should go there soon to check the weed, but if you don't have any contact i suggest you not to go there alone.

What kind of danger could one expect as a traveller, do you think? Is there danger of robberies? Kidnappings for ransom-money?

it's more kind of a prohibited area where business is handled and locals don't like unknkown foreigners sticking their nose around..

There are a predominance of indica strains.But there are a lot of sativas too.Cross between them,happens naturally,because of the open spaces,full of crops.No hope for sensimilla outta there.So when you smoke that sh!t,never throw away seeds.Probably you'll throw away a best naturally cross.

But is over......4 the moment.

scrivo pure in ita tanto...grazie dell'info lazarati haze!!molto interessante....qui dove sto io gira spesso erba di quelle parti...io sto usando i semi proprio di quell'erba e non avendo mai trovato nemmeno un erma , penso anch'io che siano incroci autentici...mi piacerebbe tanto sapere perlomeno da che sfondo genetico derivano...si potrebbe aprire una banca del seme con genetiche di lazarat ahahah no dai scherzo , pippe...

che figata!!molto interessante la cosa...ho anch'io un amico che è stato là di recente , ma non si è mai portato semi...cmq se riesci prova ad indagare su che gentiche coltivano !eheh non penso che serviva dirtelo il fatto è che non penso che sia tutta autoctona l'erba del posto...o magari ,anzi molto probab , sono autoctone incrociate con varietà piu famose da seedbank...a me interesserebbe tanto sapere quali sono questi strains...e se grazie a te lo scoprirò ti darò 100 rep+..se si potesse , ma almeno una BIG rep te la darò...
