Dr.Greenthumb - Bubba OG - Experiences -

I've seen some decent phenos from the line....I know one of DGT's test growers over on one of the local MI forums....

The Bubba dom phenos were pretty nice.....they had some nice flavors, colors and that Bubba esque high....

That being said....Im sure there are better crosses out there for less $

In retrospect im glad they didn't germinate as I would have just wasted more time and money.and if your out there G T and care to respond id be more than happy to discuss it with you.it all happened when you took a trip to Europe for Xmas apparently on me and some others .kinda shitty I threw an xtra 40 in as a tip too

Well you definitely seem to know what your doing badrabbit, always sucks to have a bad experience with any seeds. I was thinking of giving his sour diesel s1's a try in the future but his prices keep me from jumping on them right now. Lord knows I've had my own bad experiences with breeders seeds, some a lot of people did as well(GHS white rhino) and some that get a lot of praise (Bogs sour bubble, Rez ChemDD). I put it on me and my techniques just because so many others have beautiful plants from them, maybe I didn't get the "keeper" pheno or something. I run 2 multi strain SOG rooms, both top fed in coco with GH Floranova and GH additives and I try to keep indica dominant strains in one and sativa Dom in other but I still get some plants(strains) that end up deficient and some that show mute burns. Is what it is I guess.

The reason I even said anything was this is probably first bad report I've seen on this strain of his. Googling dr. Greenthumb bubba og brings up about 7-8 grow reports and they say very good things about it. I always wanted to try his endless sky as years ago it was touted as the best in potency but I also lately seen some posts that he lost one of the parents to it. Anyway good luck with next grow and hopefully your next harvest makes up for this one!

there's great bud porn out there on his stuff .... no doubt. I actually believe I just got the bad pack out of mostly good ones.

thanks dude, I agree with everything you say .... sometimes it just happens no matter what the rep. The only thing that really set me off was his "screw you" type of reply.

I tracked down everything just as you saw before going for the bubba og (hell, if he hadn't been such an azzhole about it, I might have even bought another pack) ... but I made the decision to invest the big $$.

I was as confident as I've ever been about any seed purchase, but I worked this one hard and I don't believe there are any hidden gems in there. There was some weird leaf damage at the end, but I pulled nice sample buds from every plant .... I'm pretty damn sure I didn't miss anything ... My sour bubble keeper was exactly like that; unimpressive plant from seed, but went boom when smoked, even a tiny sample.


There really was nothing going on ... I'll cure it more and try again, but in my experience, a real keeper announces itself clearly even if the seed plant is unimpressive.
