Allergic reactions during trimming (skin itching, sniffly nose etc)

Woulnt call this an allergic reaction or anything.
But if I smoke a little and trim, I get to the point where I cant even see straight high.
Any other time Im just fine.

That itchiness you guys are talking about on your forearms, yeah I get it too. Its called plant induced dermatitis. Poison oak, poison ivy, and poison sumac are usually the most extreme forms of plant induced dermatitis for most people. Many kinds of plants can cause dermatitis symptoms when people come in contact with them and it differs widely from person to person. The biggest difference between most plant induced dermatitis' and poison oak, ivy, etc, is that the urushiol oil which is the active substance in those plants actually binds with your skin cells after a short period of time so your body keeps on attacking the skin cells even after you wash it off. Thankfully that doesnt seems to be the case with cannabis oils but you never know, If you have an allergic reaction wash your self immediately. Don't try to be a tough guy.

I can only imagine what is happening when that plant matter and oils hits your nasal cavity. Ugghhhh

Please keep in mind that if your immune system is down you will react in a much more severe way.

I started eating chunks of organic virgin or unrefined coconut oil and taking probiotics everyday. As a result I don't get itchy or sniffly anymore.

Just get your immune systems up and you should be fine.

he has a point, i noticed it too after stopping to smoke after over 20yrs my immune system is much thougher and i could handle trimming much better.

Sneezing, watery eyes, sinuses so clogged I can't breathe through them, occasional chest congestion. Symptoms usually continue into the next day after super close contact (trimming) UNLESS I take an Allegra-D, then I'm all good! I only get itchy skin when I forget to wear long sleeves when doing alot of reaching deep (pruning, tying) on live plants.
