Yeah.. I was shocked but I'm guess some of that is a surcharge for excessive usage. In any case, I will do what I can. I am going to replace my HID system with an LED system. This will remove the need for a heater while consuming less power itself.

I'm going to try something a little different with some of my trim. I'm going to make a tincture, but first I am going to do a water cure of sorts of the trim. My thinking here is that I will allow the chlorophyl and other water soluble compounds to leach out. This way I can dissolve the trichs and other cannabinoids longer in alcohol without harshing it out as much. I'm hoping it will allow a stronger tincture.
Today is the first 24 hours for my "water cure" trim approach. The water had turned quite green and was very skunky. I replaced the water and noticed that the remaining trim was about 25% reduced in volume. I will continue this for a week, and then will throw it in my Magic Butter machine to make a tincture
I've been continuing to flush the trim with water daily. The trim is starting to "wilt", which is desirable. The next step will be to dry the trim and then into the Magical Butter machine. I am looking for a good bottle/dropper combo, preferably 5ml max. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have a question... I've been dechlorinating my water using Prime water conditioner. It's mainly for aquariums, but it is ALMOST perfect. It removes chlorine, chloramines, and ammonia. The only issue is it has ingredients to help build up slime coat for fish. Does anyone know of a product which does all of this, but is made for plants?

I posted some new bud shots tonight. There's definitely some larf on my two tallest girls, but the short babes have nice, full buds. I am still seeing mix of clear/milky trich, though I did see a few amber. I may be cutting at least some of it real soon. I'll be cutting individual branches since I am hopeful to keep the best plants going a bit after harvest and hopefully get her to hermi for seeds.

Hey all.. check out my grow journal for the latest. I did a partial harvest on one of my girls and its looking really good. I still have more to take from her, but I think she could give me a bit more if I let her mature. I have another one that will be ready in about a week and the other two are at least 2-3 weeks out still..
I harvested the last of my plants this week. I think they dried a bit too fast, but the hygrometer in the jars still read >60% RH so I might be ok. Total weight of decent bud is only about 2 ounces for 4 plants, with an equal amount of popcorn for a total of 4 ounces of smokeable bud. Not great, but considering the mistakes I've made and the fact this is my first grow, I am not upset about it! In the end I have a decent amount of useful medicine.
