Well....that was fun.
Ya' just gotta love it when a plan falls into place. It's almost like I've done this before in some other incarnation. Twenty-one plants in twenty-five days....we did have a couple of days of rain, so perfection was close, yet as always, just out of reach.
And people, remember, the job ain't done until everything has a good home. The flip side of production is distrubution. One without the other is pointless. Signed, sealed, delivered, I'm done....the first of what look to be five seperate harvests that will make up this years crop is in the books. Average yield per plant was a little light at a hair over five, but a simple tweaking of the plant mix (already done) and that is fixed. The next wave of clones are mostly Skunkdog, they yield heavy.
Don't think sorry's easily said.

There already has been one failure. We just came back from a cane run over last weekend. A little overflow project planted two months back. This weeks harvest has been canceled due to deer. Ten plants mauled, very little salvagable. What they didn't eat they trampled. Bummer days. Actually this is the second time we lost our asses in this area thanks to those miserable fuckers....I doubt there will be a third.
So the little side project failed to fly. This shit happens.
Now I'd like to say what is comming up and in the order it comes up in was all part of the plan..... but all I'd be doing is slinging bullshit at you. I did plan a break about the middle of this month. It isn't hard to do, just hold back your starts for an extra week or two, don't plant anything, and sixty days down the road, give or take, you got nuthin' to take. There's your break. Thanks to the deer now I have the next three weeks off, with a measley six plants to take.
What will we do? How will we stay entertained? Perhaps some fishing?

Every year, I try to get at least a few big plants going, just to make things more intresting. This year is no different. If your following this, you know that on April fools day I started some Scogi seeds. These will, I doubt, get big big. I think they will get moderate big. Here they are as of a couple of days back. The shovel is five foot.
As you can see they are big enough that they need to be supported. When a couple of branches fell off in the last rain, that gave me the hint that maybe some frames were gonna be necessary. These girls can't seem to decide weather they want to keep growing taller or getting it over with and just flowering already. So they are doing both. Scogi's are mostly Indica, other people's are flowering a lot earlier than mine. These starts never were rootbound, they went straight into the terraces, that may be the reason.
Now I have two weeks where my biggest job will be turning on the water. But this is deceptive. The calm before the storm.
