Ran into this critter mid day downtown while taking a stroll...

This critter needs some help though...totally Kali Mist dominant pheno from seed in a friend's garden after a monsoon drench. Purple stipling from too much K for starters from all that compost. Next issue is the internode spacing is a bit crazy due to garden sunlight exposure. We'll take care of both with a good foliar program starting tonight. We'll start getting more calcium in and also get better stacking pronto. We're also moving it into the greenhouse trench because I'm guessing it won't finish until later Oct. Should be great smoke if even close to the Kali Mist I've had in the past...

Castings and molasses? brew time? Soil? Things I need to know!

My roommate found a 900x microscope in our basement thats in working condition and I got some scientific slides ordered so I am going to start brewing ACT's again. Don't really use ACT's anymore as it's rather arbitrary in my current setup as of now, but I will be doing a buttload of microbrews and cataloging my results just to find out what is optimal. I feel as if there are only a handful of people out there doing this right now; I am no researcher and I have no degree, but I feel like anyone can do it if they just have the right equipment.

Yes, it is legal to grow your own.... buy at retail outlets...... get a medical card...........

There are number constraints per person, and it's not legal to sell what you grow.... so far. Gotta have a license ($s), to be able to sell.

Can I buy in a pharmacy marijuana? Or is it not legal? And whether it is already in pharmacies? Thx for answer

Hey MrTea, thanks for asking. Yes, 2-3 cups high quality EWC, 2 tbsp. unsulphered molasses and 2.5 gallons dechlor. water. Plants are in a bag to bag mixture of FF Ocean Forest and Happy Frog amended lightly with bone meal, blood meal, dolomite lime and EWC. Soil is mixed with about 30-40% perlite. The tea had brewed about 22 hours when I strained and watered with it. From my reading it sounds like 20-24 is a good guess unless you are using a scope. First AACT tea I have ever brewed so wanted to keep it pretty simple.

back to that whole Rare Dankness, River Rock & Monsanto conversation....
scott at RD just put out a statement saying that RD will no longer associate with River Rock.

I'm very glad to see that....

Any recommendations on good rec dispensaries in north metro area that are NOT scanning IDs?

Too old to start trusting the gub'mint now.

Meh. I think we'll need to wait until there are strictly retail pot shops on the scene. The whole bit about scanning ID's is an artifact of & a legal necessity for MMJ outlets. In the dual purpose model of MMJ/Retail, they scan to protect themselves. In a strictly retail operation, they won't need to do that.

De Gub'mint? They don't have the resources or the inclination to fool around with people making retail purchases. Well, other than within the context of semi-delusional conspiracy theory of which there is currently great abundance.

Effective immediately Rare Dankness seed will no longer be working with River Rock Wellness or any of its affiliates.

We at a Rare Dankness hold no animosity to the owners/employees or patients of RRW. I believe, that at this time, our companies philosophies and goals are headed on opposite paths.

My goal and hope has always been freedom for this plant. I want to see Cannabis legalized, decriminalized, and just allowed to exist as any other plant exists. Free from oppression, and available to everyone. I'm a grower and my commitment will always be to the grower.

I realized that in order to maintain our course and commitment to this plant will require RD to take fuller control of all aspects of production.

"From seed to harvest, breeding and mother facilities and curing time on flowers. It has become an obsession to bring back herb that has been grown to perfection and taken a step beyond perfection with a proper cure and handled with love and respect.

We are now in the process of finalizing the new Rare Dankness Colorado home, which we are very excited about. We will make that announcement in the next few weeks."

Also @ MHBGuy,

2-3 cups of EWC for 2.5 gallons is a bit overkill.

River Rock wasn't scanning which was why I was willing to try them out for the experience and some seeds. Completely retail will be nice, but hopefully my crop will be in by then and I won't have any need.

Yes and no. This current gang always finds resources for their pet causes. Paranoid and cautious has kept me out of trouble this long. Old habits die hard. And semi-delusional? haha, that sounds like me.

Also @ MHBGuy,

Will cut it down to a cup or so in the future. There was a relatively small amount of sludge left that I used for top dressing before I watered.

The spiders are a help in most cases. I was bit by blackwidows (female!) 4 times when i was younger (12 to 20)...it was REALLY bad the second time for some reason...I doubt i would survive another ride like that these days. They are everywhere in So Col. But my basement (when younger) had so many you couldn't even poison more than a percentage and they would be back in a few months...Glad i don't live there no more.

I always look for true garden spiders in June to relocate to my grow. They start about the size of a dime but can get almost as big as a CD by August (i have seen abdomens on a couple almost as big as a golf ball)...good indication of their worth to me.

But i never seem to find the little jumping spiders untill after i go to break up a dried bud and find it full of their nests...Every year i find a couple and just can't figgure out how i don't see them LONG before that...When checking trics, When selecting branches to trim, While trimming them, while playing with buds while drying and curing...Why do they always get through?

I have only seen 3 true Brown Recluses in 48 years here, 2 in my Grand Parent's crawl space and one at USC's bio labs...i think Dr Herrman left there so they might not still keep them, and every-one says my Aunt brought them back from Ohio years before and they never could get all of them.

In the end the spiders have done a LOT more good than bad from what i see...Except maybe for the ones you actually swallow while sleeping...I have woke up to that a couple of times...hard to sleep again for days.

I will diligently spray and take lots of meds to make sure I never awaken to eating a spider...

Is there anyone in Pueblo selling earthworms? I knew i forgot to add dsomething this year. My Great Aunt died last Fall and she always brought mwe a nice mix in the Spring.
I like to mix nightcrawlers and red wigglers.
