double cropping

got a 1.2 tent with dense canopy and alot of pop corn. growing in coco, thinking of taking tops off and carry on growing the bottoms.

just wondering if anyone has had to do this and if its even worth doing? also not sure if after flush to go back onto food etc..

these are 8 week strains, they look like week 5 as been battling high ec runoff with 5 ph so its been a disaster thus far compared to my first grow.

also i wanted to give these a few days of dark before chop, but with this ruing my double crop attempt?

cheers

double crop meaning you want to reveg them after harvest, veg them for a bit more, then put them to flower again?
if that is what you want you should not put them in the dark more than 12 hours after the first crop, they may never recover, especially if you wait for the buds to mature, they are already close to death, so they need energy to recover.

hi, not revege. just chop the tops and grow the bottoms. i was just wondering about feed after flushing. would you put back onto feed or would the ph be too out? if so, just continue to flush with lights on or off?

cut the tops when you are ready ,leaving them in the dark for 2 xdays is a waste of two days .imo just let the rest go 12/12 on ph ed water ,maybe bring the light a bit closer depending how much height you have cut off ! another week to 10 days will prob make em a bit bigger and defo stronger ! all the best .ww

I've heard of people doing this outdoors, If you don't have time constraints, and theres enough bud sites finishing so that its not a waste of electricity, then why not. Have fun trimming the big stuff and hopefully the pop corn isn't bad.
