I have nothing for or against vegans, I'm a butcher and my sis is a vegan, I cook vegan for her and have days where I don't eat meat myself. What you eat is your choice, but I have a serious problem with the idea that vegan meals are healthier or better for the environment.
Unless you're growing your own food, everything that comes out of a supermarket or comes from commercial agriculture, including those, often bullshit bio and organic labels, is loaded with toxins and cause of deforestation, destruction of natutal habitats... And that is especially the case for soy based animal feed/vegan food.

Soya is indeed a very controversial product, though praised for being so healthy on the one side
its being said that it can cause new types of allergies and stimulate tumors in the female menopause.
and additionally to that the deforatastition as sprinkl points out.

but if you dig deep enough you can associate any kind of crop with bad things..
such as sugar can stimulate cancer and just the same amazon forest are being chopped down
for the sake of it.

its always the cliché and what you do with it.. its never the food.

did you people ever think about what sun actually does to our body?
i mean most of you may know when it rains for a while that it causes depression
and when the sun is out we chill we feel fine, in a state of rest.

even though the sun causes some energy to divert,
but at the same time it fills us up with it either.

a girl i met was reading a book about a swiss guy
who scientifically substituted, went for 4 years without food.

unfortunately that practice caused several deaths...
you certainly have to be ready for such a journey.

the idea seems to come out ot Hinduism.
one of our oldest religions.

here a little passage from wikipedia:

Inedia (Latin for "fasting") or breatharianism is the belief that it is possible for a person to live without consuming food. Breatharians claim that food, and in some cases water, are not necessary for survival, and that humans can be sustained solely by prana, the vital life force in Hinduism. According to Ayurveda, sunlight is one of the main sources of prana, and some practitioners believe that it is possible for a person to survive on sunlight alone. The terms breatharianism or inedia may also refer to this philosophy practiced as a lifestyle in place of the usual diet.

Indeed, I read last week that sunlight activates similar receptors as opiates. People addicted to opiates can go a long time without eating as well :)

I agree. Agriculture is destroying our planet. Because it has to be cheap and mass produced. Glyphosate containing products like roundup are the cause of a lot of illness, and chemical fed plants generally are not very nutritious, and need more harmful pesticides to keep them bugfree. Even the plants themselves are so bred for max yield and uniform products that a lot of the good qualities are long lost. Look at wheat, its so resistant to everything that even the human body cant digest it properly anymore.
The only thing that can save us and our planet is sustainable local farming. But everybody wants that pineapple or soy or whatever that has to be shipped completely unripe from the other side of the world so by the time it gets here its somewhat eatable...

I don´t know what is happening in the future, but it don´t come better with Food resources. The new middle classes in Brasil, china, india, you name it, want to eat all the things, that the 1st world People are eating today and in the past. There is just one simple rule that shows the whole "Wahnsinn" crazyness. You Need for example 500 Kilos corn to produce 2 Kilo meat. No real numbers, but you know what I mean.

The whole world wide food systhem is fucked up! If you see the movies about the mass slaughtery in the slaughterhouses, killing of billions of male little chickens worldwide, we only need the fem. chicken. Humans always killed animals but today it is a factory killing, a "shoa" to the animals.

but what can a poor noy do, nough said, carrying a Little darkness on my back, no chance of forgivness, not katholic , lol ;-)

sustainable local farming

thats a nice catchphrase which has several advantages,
despite all the fucked up genetics which you get nowadays
that would be one great idea if everybody could stick to it.

but the problem is most of the people are buying the cheap thing
substituting the huge concerns.. so it becomes even cheaper,
eventually killing every competition willing competitor.

you could go a step further and say that everybody
has his own little garden a cow and a few chickens
whatever it needs to keep you healthy and happy.

but thats a philosophy which many are too lazy about.
its just too easy to grab a pizza from the deep freeze..
and stuff it into the microwave (or oven whatever)

i could live with big concerns producing food,
but what i am a bit worried about is how the seeds get fucked up
inducing genetic changes to keep bugs away etc..

sooner or later we have no natural seeds anymore...
