the problem with the USA team is the German Coach.

The USA is made up of way too many ethnic groups to try to force them to play German style. You gotta allow the players to find their natural skills and apply them wisely to the game, instead of just trying to follow a cold strategy backed up with great physical shape.

imo of course; this is also evident in the German team too, since the days of only German peeps in the team are over... you cannot force Turks to play like Germans played 40 years ago...

peace

I don't know the game well enough to know about strategies and the like, but I thought Klinsmen did well. I liked almost all of his subs and thought he had the team believing they could win even though they all knew Belgium had more talent. I did think Yedlin could have been used more even though he's inexperienced. His speed caused everyone he played against problems, seemed to get to the end line and play a cross in at will. Gotta root for Belgium now though, then at least we were knocked out by the champs.

You saw the game
Belgium dominated, and the U.S. had moments that can be called a luck.
as for me, so their victory was deserved

another great game last night,,usa really gave there all and I admire jurgen klinsmenns management and it so easily could have gone to penaltys but onward belguim,,,,
I think its gonna be a very close one with argentina,,,Belgians are good at the back,,close down messi?,,who knows,,,,
now perhaps the English fa will offer klinsmenn the England managers job,
real shame that the new York times labelled the match as boring,s2

good mind, but judges in England dont lets them play hard.
Look German league, so many hard game, and referee dont stop the game. Because they se game in fight.
Another side, referee in England stop game, so many yellow and red card in hard game.
Klinsmann not prepare for judges in England, and this is can be problem.
Players and referee can adaptive for his style or not, who knows.
But want some one in England get this coach??
thats a question...

My heart goes out to USA. They get back what little they put in. Ordinarily Germany should have scored more agsinst them as well. Until Americanos start caring more about football they will be distined to mediocrity. The only great player on team is the goal keeper. My pride will come from Colombia or Brazil. My son is both jajaja

I bet money on this match. US must make at least one goal, and money in my pocket...

Belgium are gonna be a bunker and will close down Messi for sure, there's no question about it, it will be a different team than we have seen so far, just like Switzerland, they had at least two guys on Messi and at least 9 players defending the area.

I've seen the USA play better than what they did in the Belgium game, I was expecting more from them, hence why I think Jurgen is not the right man for them. Just like Sabella is not the right man for Argentina.

peace!

I'm picking Germany and Brazil as winners today.

France v Germany, WOW! Should be great.

I think the complete opposite, France will defeat Germany, and if Brazil does not get help from the referee (like neymar diving every time he touches the ball), Colombia will prevail.

We'll see in a few more hours.

I'm cooking Italian food, it's gonna be a great time watching football and eating tasty food! No wine though, only very cold beer as it is hot as balls out here.

Peace!

I saw the argentina manager treated with total disrespect in one of the earlier games when telling a player something the play didn't like and player turned around and squirted his manager with water!,,,pundits went crazy,,saying the player who did that ? should never play for his country again,,,which made me think is sabella the right man for the job? if his players have little respect for him then how does he keep the performing?,,,,s2
