Chile's own goal was given to David Luis, how come? another little help from FIFA to help them in the statistics, not the first time it has happened either... first officially accepted own-goal by Brazil was in this world cup in the first game, which is obviously bullshit since there were many more in the past, but FIFA never allowed those own-goals by Brazil to be tagged as such

What a heart breaker. Howard played like he was 8 feet tall. Feel bad for him but have lots of hope for the future. A good showing from a couple of the youngsters Yedlin and Green. Hats off to Belgium they played a terrific game for 110 min and just good enough for the last 10 min.

finally caught up on my dvd'd games. I didn't want to pop my head in here and see a bunch of spoilers.

WTF is up with the "mike Tyson" antics from suarez? I mean what the fuck!!!! are you kidding me, biting another player. and this was NOT his first issue biting another player. this guy should be permanently BANNED from any soccer game anywhere in the world. this is NOT how you play the game. and definitely not an example for our young and up and coming soccer players.

and what a USA vs Belgium game. awesome game from start to end. Howard played the game of his life and the D for the USA was slacking and getting run down the sidelines every chance Belgium got.

I was unaware that the Swiss team played the Catenacho Italiano, LOL! all behind under their goal like a bunker, very efficiently, but oh how different from how they played against France for example; ironic, since in the first phase they were not obliged to win and a tie would have benefited them more than loosing 5-2 to France, but in the 8th finals against Argentina they were simply not interested in winning but rather interested in not allowing Argentina to score, anti-football in short. The Swiss goal-keeper is pure quality I have to admit!

not even with all that help they got from the referee they were able to win. WTF was that last final free-kick they got from within the semi-circle of the area???? no direct free-kicks are allowed from there, so another obvious sign of FIFA's politics against Argentina in full effect yet again.

I'm amazed at how bad of a player Lavezzi is, he had his hands on his dick the whole game, he has no place in the national team, I'm thinking his actual level should be in some 2nd league in Venezuela or something; he only has talent for taking his shirt off and showing off his abs to the teenage girls lol....

big problems with Sabella, the coach, he is using Higuain who is obviously injured...

Lavezzi should seat for the rest of the tournament and be replaced by the much superior Maxi Rodriguez, and Higuain should be replaced for Palacios. If they manage to fix these two serious crippling problems, Argentina will take the cup easily.

Tough game. Howard was a beast. I vote him our new Secretary of Defense. If he hadn't played like he did the score would have been 8-1 and he still would have had 8 saves.

US has to get to the point where we possess the ball better. Way too many easy turnovers.

The future looks bright though. Have some really good up and coming kids with serious speed.
