Hi Zamzia, it now appears that the browning / yellowing of my tips was confined only to the lower leaves. I transplanted a few day ago, gave the girls some light nutes, and so far no new yellowing. This is my first grow, but I'm thinking that most deficiencies are due to a lack of minerals. I would try some molasses (about 1 tbsp per gallon of lukewarm water), and also some bone meal (again 1 tbsp per gallon). Mix well and stir / shake from time to time, and after 24 hours use to feed your plants. If no ill effects after 4 - 5 days, make a fresh batch and repeat.

These pics look exactly like Zamzia's problem. From what I've read, it's best to ease up on your grow after flushing. Water 2 times with tap water (have also seen PH'd being used), and after that I'd go with some bone meal as above. The curling of your bottom leaves is probably due to the flush. It should correct itself.

Tommy thanks for answer! Buttom leaves edges curling down to center of leaves, till i notice problem :/ i watering always with tap water... how aboute if i change all soil? Maybe some spidermites? Some unknown insects? I dont have any ideas

You have the broad mite twist to your leaves. Better scope.

Hi Belivitez, I'm glad to give some input. I'm working on my first grow. Either idea would be great if they lead to a solution. Hope it's not pests, that could be annoying. Looks like they'e in 3 gal pots. If mites are the problem, you probably could transplant after about 3 week (depending on when you last flushed).

retrogrow how sure are you aboute borad mites? i dont have powerfull microskope :/ i use neemazal all the time. What should i do more to pervent borad mites?

Magnesium deficiency?

Can I get some help confirming this? They're clearly begging for magnesium, right? They're growing in the nor cal blend soil and ive been applying compost teas via soil drench and foiliar applications. I started a Pure Protein Dry regimen after my last AACT foliar application. I spent a week away from the garden after that and came back to a considerable number of plants displaying this conoeing effect. My understanding is that canoeing is caused by Mg deficiency.

Could the plants have maybe used up a lot of their Mg to help proccess the enzymes added through the PPD application and now be begging for Mg refills?

I appreciate any thoughts on the matter..

Just came back to this thread again. I'd been looking at another site, and thought I was getting the right answers, but checking out Joe's guide it all makes more sense. I'm going about my nitrogen deficiency all wrong, so I'm going to up the PH to stop the lockout by using some bone meal next feeding. I thought the low PH was beneficial in veg stage, but now I see that the bigger problem is the lockout. Not sure if the FFOF is the reason, but mostly it's working pretty good so far. I have nice big leafy green tops.

I had the same problem on my girls. It was PH problem with my lady's. Belivitez where are u from? i read on other thread that u mentioned lekadol??? that drug exist only in slovenia/europe...

Well, I got no help from this thread, but I'm going with heat stress due to either gentic fragility or my TDS from well water is putting excess salts into my soil which may be effecting transpiration. Leaning more with genetics because it is strain specific and the rest of the garden is ok. The TDS of my well water is at or around 250ppm... slightly concerning. Will be sending water in for a test.

Doesnt seem like heat stress would have been a difficult problem to diagnose... why no help?

Glad to see your homing in on the problem GTF. It looks as though your plants are outside, so I don't see how they could be affected by heat stress? As far as the rest of your info, it's well beyond me. I'm lucky since here in Hawaii the water isn't fluoridated, and the PH level is perfect for my plants directly as is from the tap.

Thanks, tommygh. I just got out of a 2 week stretch of 100°F + days, and I have also learned of certain phenotypes of GC that are not very heat tolerant. That batch of seedlings also produced some weird plants with muttled discolorations, although it is still growing normally.. maybe poor breeding practices with out enough genetic testing..

Its been a crash course year for me, to say the least. Learning everyday.

Nice that you're enjoying the whole experience as much as I am GTF. I'm on my first grow (indoor), and I'm now ready to start my flowering cycle. Plants are nice and bushy, and I just fed them again yesterday. I've got some recent pics in my albums.
