Well these definitely are not blue dream

7/7 seeds I found throughout a bunch of bud I assumed was blue dream. (I'm on the East Coast btw lol)

It was very blueberry/fruity smelling but super super hazey as well. Thing is the buds were really indica looking, tight,light and lots of pistils.

I am from NY and know my haze and it really had a very hazey smell. Look at these big fat leaves though! Never really had a bud with such indica characteristics but such a hazey smell and taste. Smelled like straight up haze when burned. Anybody know any popular strains that have these characteristics?

These plants vary, some actually have a little hazey smell and some just have a funky slighty fruity smell on stem rub. I have to keep em kinda small in my backyard, and had some insect problems when seedlings but their looking happy now. Going into 5 gallon smart pots in a few days.

could be a strawberry cough, it is as you describe indica, fruity, hazy

Hey I just googled some strawberry cough bud shots and they look super similar!! I am doing some research now, I think you may have hit the nail on the head. That is why I love this place!

After further research, it seems strawberry cough has more sativa looking leaf structure. hmm I am going to keep looking.

super Silver Haze is one of the parents of Blue Dream, Northern Lights is one of the strains in SSh, I run Blueberry Blast which is a BD hybride,you just got a Northern Lights pheno, thus the indica appearence with the haze character smoke.

thanks, I knew blue dream had a decent amount of indica in it from the NL on the ssh side and the blueberry its self looks like it has some nice fat leaves.

So these bag seeds are s1's basically right?

Stem rub does remind me a lot of northern lights nugs I have had.

Those are from seed, I found 7 seeds total from about a half zip. They stretched a lil at first and The bugs chewed some leaves up at fiirfbut I am happy with where they are now. I have to keep them somewhat small, They are in #1 pots from home depot(less then a gallon i believe) and will be going into 5 gallon smart pots within the next week.

The bud may of been blue dream ... what pollinated it could of been nething... thats the thing with bagseed.. never know unless u were growing it.... hopefully it was some dank n ur plants turn out fire...

Thing is the bud really was not seeded was just a few so I was thinking the seeds were selfed.

Yea and if they were selfed wouldn't they be a lot like the plant they came from?

I'm thinking it was some type of blue dream/northern lights cross at this point. Pure blue dream looks wayyyyyy more sativa.

There is no way to know it was bagseed... 6seeds is alot depending on if it was n 1/8 oz or lb... id be glad they more indica dom... they will grow better for ya in ny....

Looks very similar to the Bruce Banner I have, which has a lot of Strawberry cough in it. Looked very indica in the beginning, but as she got bigger and flowered the leaves started to get longer and more sativa like.

Quick update, their smelling nice and stanky...not really hazey much.




I know I'm cutting real close with those containers but I will get to transplanting very soon. (second shot is the wind blowing not some weird distortion)

Haha well I' putting them in containers and thats a 6 foot fence they need to stay under.

Dont wanna b negative, but a good chance those came from hermie pollen. Id keep an eye out on the lower half bottom of buds might grow balls... usually its the lowest buds...

Well quick update, they showed sex around ~july 4th. 5/7 were females. I gave two to my buddy and held onto 3 of em. I'm at about 40N, a lil early for pre-flowers for me but then again anything else I have had outdoors seemed a lot more sativa dom.

Untopped obviously, just gonna let them go. Got a nice stink to them.
