Well what a frigging game of rugby league

y'know bOOm, I 'm getting a bit tired of State of Origin melodramatics. the advertising and such seems to me to be a beat up designed to make lots and lots of money ... to milk the working classes that enjoy a bit of a stoush.

on the other hand Rugby Union interests me a lot. the game is more complex ... getting the ball at the breakdown for example ... the teamwork necessary in scrums ... the variation possible at every play ...

altho I don't mean to take anything away from the League players who give their all ...

I`m an old rugby league player / fan .
But Rugby Union, esp super 14 is the best spectacle . League is choreographed so much we are watching the same tactics over and over, till there is a flash of brilliance by one or two players on the field .

League has taken out the contest for the ball . So we have it for 5 tackles and then you have it for 5 . No stripping in tackles , no striking for the ball at the ruck and no pushing in the scrum . Too formulaic .

Union has the opportunity to take the ball from the other team in every confrontation . Scrum . line out , ruck . Counter attack in league has been buried in favour of higher percentage plays . Yawn ...

The Origin game had the worst performance by referees I`ve seen in a looong time . No bias, they were poor going both ways . They didn`t establish control early like they do on week ends . Tried to let it flow cause its the show case . That went wrong fast as niggle got escalated .
It was a poor show case for NRL`s biggest spectacle . Elbows to tackled players and spear tackles . The mums at home see that and make up their minds my little angel is not getting involved in that rubbish .

Beefier Kush type . Tasted like Affie hash on the exhale . Still didn`t yield enough to go around again .

I grow Double Koosh by Mota . Bubba Kush x G13/Hash Plant . Decent yields, hard nuggs .

Well I guess I could bore you all with my story about catching a train last week,I had to go to Sydney for the night and decided that catching a train half way might have been a little easier , all went well, I had an uneventful night and boarded an early morning train to head home ,sitting across from me was a fella that I thought was talking on his phone,turned out that he didn't have a phone and was having a good old conversation with himself, as the train pulled out from the station the fella got up and went to the front of the carriage and systematically ask everyone "will you talk with me?" to which everyone replied No! some were a bit ruder than that,then he moved on to the next person until he had ask everyone on the carriage except me then when it was my turn to be ask the dude just looked at me and gave me this filthy look made this scoffing noise and walked off ! talk about feeling rejected! then this Asian guy started playing peekaboo with me then started marching up and down the aisle staring at me,I just ignored him and that tactic worked and he went away, then when reaching my destination I decided to use the toilets before I left the station and walked past this guy sitting on the bench wearing nothing but a pair of footy shorts and had a woollen jumper wrapped around his head it was really cold! as I walk past him the second time he jumped up in front off me and started singing Hare Krishna and didn't want to let me pass Oh fucken hell I though to myself so I joined in and sang a chorus with him made a peace sign and then he was happy to let me pass.I don't know what the moral to this story is but shit I sure can attract them ..have a nice day

once I was a worker in the motor trades. customers fascination with their cars would give me the shits ... as if they all drove rollsroyces. in the end the repetitive nature of my work and the repetitive nature of customers questions and their little anxieties made me very depressed. I began to think my worker-self to be as significant as a pimple on the arse of Affluence ... and so took to drugs from which I have never recovered. these days I think of myself more as ... more as ...
