Anyone that "deserves" death is getting off too easy if death is all that's handed to them.
My intent when beating the man was for him to live the rest of his life as miserable as possible. A vegetable. Incapable of supporting himself. Incapable of harming another child. Yet forced to live with the memory, in a miserable excuse for an existence.
Unfortunately, that's a hard line to distinguish in a fit of rage, and easily crossed.

there is actually more than two genders (M/F) and in a lot of cultures around the world, men are placed into a female role where they would be considered feminine in order to help balance the ratio of the sex of their children. that way the dishes get done while the boys are outside chopping woods. the third gender is also considered a female and males that have sex with them are considered straight.
