New Outdoor grow

Its been awhile since i have been here. Maybe 10 years or so. i wonder if any of my old buddies are still here. Outkasst? cookedcook? Aldoushuxley?

anywho, this is my first grow in about 10 years or so, and my third or fourth overall. Finally bought a house and was able to find some sun!

So these are four seeds i collected over the year from various nice bags of trees I've got.

first photo is just popped

and the second is about three weeks maybe?

Nice to have ya back!

Nice to have ya back!

SAB its cool that you've found your way back to the site. What made you stop coming if you don't mind me asking? It's cool that you've got your own house now, having your own space to do what you wish with is a real plus. Bag seed grows are always fun and it's good that you kept the seeds from a good quality batch. I have one bag seed plant growing right now. Its a Sativa and from a batch of Silver Lemon Haze. She's real pretty but I must say that the Hillbilly Kush that I ordered with known genetics are much better producers. Sometimes with bag seed you have to worry about any bad characteristics that may pop out as well as any good. At least with purchased genetics you know what your gonna get. I've never seen an outdoor grow from start to finish before so I'll be looking on. I cant wait to see those bad girls (hopefully) grow up. Good luck with the grow and remember to post us some more pics along the way.

Good luck man, I'll be along for the ride :)
And NY, just to follow up; even on ordered seeds you will get good and bad seeds, thus why people go pheno hunting. But yes, you are a bit more likely to get good than bad lol.

Thanks guys,
NY whats up! I left for awhile because i didn't have any growing goin on for a long time due to space and functionality. I ended up leaving the job i was at before, that was the job that afforded me the opportunity to be online all day. Now I'm in a job with zero internet time, so it wasn't really in the cards for me. So now that i have a grow going and i have my life in order I'm back. I also stumbled upon my log in information here, hoping to get back in touch with a friend i met on here OG years ago, who i lost touch with and this was the only way i knew i could get back in touch with them so it all worked out in the end.

Ill post up some new pics, were on about the third node or so now so they're getting there. Still not getting as much sun as i wish i could but these little (ladies, fingers crossed) get about 6 hours or so give or take.

Hey man all that counts is your back and growing! Your little ones are looking great. I'm really looking forward to watching your thread cause, like I said I've never seen an outdoor grow start to finish.

Hey Cookedcook!! whats going on brother? Long time man. Hope things are going well with you! Castout changed phone numbers awhile back and i lost touch. I've been trying to get back in contact with them. as well as all my old buddies from OG. Its been a really long time. Whats new with you? Was thinking about that time at the hotel when we all hung out. Good times. Can't believe its been so long.

So i am going to be doing some LST on these "ladies" as they have stretched a bit, I've never done it before but all my research here on the site says its relatively simple and as long as nothing breaks they should be fine. Will post up some new pics in a bit. Also was away for a few days this week and they didn't get as much sun as i wish because no one was around to move them around with the sun so one of them has a browning and curling leaf. Not a big deal as the new growth and top still looks great.

LST on two of them

SO anyone here have any experience with this? Low Stress Training? I have never done it before hopefully I'm doing it right. We'll see, its an adventure in Potany!

A few better pics of LST

Heres a few more pictures of what I'm working with. Used my actual camera to get some good shots.

And a question on leaf browning

And a question on leaf browning

Im attaching this picture also, one of them had a little curling and leaf browning so i wasn't sure if anyone had any thoughts/ideas on this.. I didn't LST this one due to the browning...

Yeah man....breaking out the big party bong, and hitting oil with castout and TOH (who else was there.....PFMJ?) Anyhow.....good times.
She's been a tough one to get in contact with. I've pretty much been just communicating with her here, and unfortunately she hasn't been around much lately. Hope all is well, castout. (I figure mentioning her name will get her to show up like the Great Gazoo)
peace, bro.

are they going into bigger pots? if so, you should consider doing some more LST. you could also top and/or FIM. whatever you can to get to to bush out instead of climbing up.

good luck with your grow!

I wasn't planning on going to bigger pots, thought these would be big enough. Would you recommend bigger? I had mulled over the idea of topping but hadn't done anything yet about it. I have never topped before but I've seen a few videos and stuff so I'm familiar, just never put it into practice. was thinking about maybe a little more LST because i am def trying to keep them more bushy than up.
