Hard to tell from the pics, but looks like a male to me. A female preflower will just be a single calyx/spike with a white pistil or two sticking out of the top, however those look like little spiky clusters which would be male flowers. You can always wait another week or two to be sure, but if it's got a claw shape it's a male.

Agree w above... but give it another week or 2 to be certain....late to show females a lot of the times will be something special...good luck

Thanks y'all. I just chopped a male this week. Now I have one 8 Miles High that looks to be female and 2 Krystallica, one of which I hope to be female.

That's a male. You can see the male preflowers for certain in that 2nd pic from the left.

And the winner is....Male.

I have another that I suspect is male as well. Not happy about it as it is my last Krystalica and would be 2 out of 2 seeds that turned out male.... boo.

Female flowers will *never* look like those balls you see in the nodes on that plant. That is definitely a male, no question about it. Sorry about your luck on the ratio. :tiphat:

thanks for the sympathy Hush. This is the other plant that I suspect will turn out to be a male.

If you feel you are getting too many males, and you know you are working with good genetics, you might consider adjusting the environment in your seed-starting area. It's been suggested that environment dictates plant gender.

Thanks mate. I have a pretty lady growing that was right beside these Krystalicas.... Mandala 8 Miles High, so I think my environment should be ok (single plant pic). The pic with the 2 plants is the Krystalica. Plant on the left is definitely a male and on the right is the suspected male. Maybe I stressed them early on... hard to say, but I think they've had a pretty good life (quality soil mix, pretty good outdoor sun, no cold snaps, etc..).

I also have this 8 Miles High seedling that exploded into flower. It's finish window is next week.
