I think the FO male doc uses is prone to kick out more dudes than girls. I had an extremely high amount of males when I ran 2 packs of valley girl.

And to clarify when I say male flowers, I mean clusters of pollen sacks, on females. Not just a banana or two here or there. But 15% of the females hermed like crazy.
why do you put them in flower if there males ? all mj plants can be sexed way before there ready to flower
Hmm haven't that from any forum fem crosses so far. Know of several folks who popped wookies and haven't heard of any issues. I only popped 5 no male sacs. Have more and ecsd x forum goin now. Homie who made em says all his are coming out great.
Is that with male/female beans? I'll post back if I have any issues.

I agree that it's more difficult for the lazy "breeders" to pollen chuck with the forum cut, and get great results. But if someone was to put in the time working the line, great results could definitely happen. A project like this would take time, selection, and patience. Nevertheless, it's definitely not impossible. Nowadays, breeders willing to work their lines to perfection are hard to come by though. I don't think taking the f1 route in search of a quick hype $ is the route to go for any respectable breeder. I Hope someone will step up to the plate and find the missing piece to the cookie seed form puzzle....

my first two rounds of forum/animal s1 produced 15-20% herm rates, and the progeny wasn't uniform by any means. i was ready to chalk the whole idea but me and prophet ran another round of S1 and the last time most came out very similar in smell/taste to the forum and barely had any pods…..so there might be some good stuff in there after all. but in general anything with 15% herm rates I'm not comfortable giving out to people. even greendotlabs mentioned that bodhi's forum crosses were showing intersex….interesting to hear that true grit hasn't seen herms so i dont know maybe its something other than the genetics.

The amount of seeds we are popping are not enough to make any claims on the genetics. After you pop 1000 , okay.

So what you're saying is that none if the seeds are using cookies as the mom, but reversed cookie pollen as a "dad"? And your sample size of not having herms from what you've grown is 10 seeds?
