I live in a residential neighborhood. I know a few of the neighbors but we don't talk. I usually just smoke weed and look out my window at whats going on in the world. Right now eveeryones headed to work.

I have lived in my house almost 20 years now. I have seen many neighbors come and go. The past 5 years have been the quietest. The years we were raising the kids was the worst. Someone was always telling us how to raise them. Nosy neighbors. Lets just say karma has prevailed here.
I had a parolee that lived next to me that visited my house with a baseball bat. That didn't happen again. He was a convicted car thief. Had just gotten out from serving 10 years. What a chump.
The way my property is shaped, creates 7 neighbors. All divided by a wood fence. One foreign couple, one single mom with adult kids, two leos, one retired couple, another couple that I have known since kids(mom gave them the house), and a 30 something that stepdad gave the house to him. Most of the time I have no interaction with the neighbors other than the kid that lives next to me. He works with me. But, I do share my harvest with some of them. Fruits and vegetables(not weed) that I grow.

One last note on neighbors. When I was growing up during the mid '70s we used to have "Block Parties". The street was shut to traffic and everyone showed up with food and drink. Several hours of partying went on. Today I know the names of 4 people on my block, and there is never a "Block Party".

let me break it down

let me break it down

Not to bad ya'll haha so I have been renting this place for a few years now, the ones on the left are old racist hispanics(they let me know that I wasn't welcome) and on the right is a very volatile woman(she drinks out frount at night and lets unwilling people know her business) I like to keep my distance with both.. :ying:

The neighbor to the West of me used to smoke heavily (he is a musician) & he checks out the garden but his wife won't let him smoke. The neighbor to the North has a red card (MMJ) and I am teaching him to grow. I give him all my leftover MMJ. The bad neighbor to the East everyone on the block dislikes. He does stuff like wander into other people's yards and limbs off their trees (mine also) because he doesn't like branches maybe. Should I call in LEO the next time he plays in my yard? I am kind of nervous about that. Also I think he has mental issues. I am completely legal with a current red card, correct plant numbers, and also live in Colorado where Recreational is legal.

I'm in an apt complex, everyone says 'Hi' but keeps on moving.

This morning however, I took a load of trash to the dumpster and found that 'someone' had left 3 5gal rootballs upended next to the dumpster.

They had cut off the woody stalk close to the soil surface but it sure looked familiar.

I'ma gonna have to report this to the rental office as I just can't live in a place with CRIMINAL ACTIVITY going on.:biggrin:

Sad thing is, in nearly every neighborhood, there are always some who would do that, and worse. Also, whoever the shit-for-brains is dumping like that, is just begging for trouble!

Legal or not, the last thing to ever do is get the pork involved; and even then, think it over hard, and I mean hard! Once you call the cops, you are potentially jeopardizing your situation as well; too many of them don't give a damn what color your card is, you just don't know what they'll do. Also, your neighbors might not appreciate a police presence, either.

How about talking to him? If he doesn't listen to logic, then; please forgive my bluntness, demonstrate how it's going to hurt when he gets struck with one of your gardening tools.

i'm eating the fat one now...

How does she taste?

Gawd! I'm glad I left the neighbors in the city and suburbs for the last time 8 years ago..
My last house, 8 years ago, was on a postage stamp...I could spit from my window and hit the neighbors house..
I lived in big cities on and off all my life.. I'll never go back again...

Ya see when the WHOLE Neighborhood hates this guy, if You or any single Person doesn't feel BOLD enough to deal with this Psyco, then its time for a Neighborhood intervention, maybe a bon fire in His fucking basement. If everyone is at a house party, just another POS with an insurance claim.
I have NEVER understood why Folks stand by and don't handle shit like this, and keep it In House. FUCK THE POLICE!!!
