Winter runs!!!
With hydronic floor/soil heating I assume? A peep around here has a large aquaponic setup yet only growing lettuce...to the tune of 600 lbs a week though . He's got like 14kw of photovoltaic panels and 12 4' x 10' solar hot water collectors. Doesn't burn an ounce of fuel except his tractors.

Winter runs should be quite feasible with the warm temperatures and current lack of rain. I let some of my crop goto till thanksgiving last year and it was decent. I plan on planting my 2nd dep in September with plants that have been on supp lighting for another thanksgiving harvest.

Gonna start chopping peyotes in a week...can't thank myself enough for starting seeds in November, it's looking like October in my greenie. Bought a 200 gal tank for my truck bed, water is already very scarce and you're lucky to get a delivery for $400. Best of luck to everyone, hope y'all are making great use of this good sun.

Is there a single-bottle/bag/product "Brix Mix" replacement yet, or any single product that's widely distributed (i.e. easy to find @ grow store) and works "good enough"?

Looks like the current Brix Mix replacement is a multi-vendor multi-product concoction that might be a PITA to acquire, but if that's what it takes...

Are you looking for an exact mineral replacement or are you looking to raise the brix of your plants?

Raising the actual brix is about determing what is : a) missing and b) providing luxury levels of certain elements like mo and p.

Are there any submersible oil-free pumps that can drive a decent pressure for running drip emitter lines?

Looks like the yellow Mondi 1585gph 1/2HP has 27ft max head, which according to my calculations is less than 12psi. One manufacturer states the operating range is 10-50psi, recommended @ 25psi.

What type of oil-free pump will get the job done that won't also break my wallet? Equivalent would be about 58ft head.

And what is everyone using for pH adjustments, if anything?

Why does it have to be submersible?

Why can't you run a bulkhead to an inlet with a union and valve and plumb the outlet to your irrigation?

Grundfos makes a pretty good selection of pumps. Thats what I had when I was on electric irrigation.

It doesn't have to be submersible, but it makes it convenient and portable.

What sort of irrigation are you on now, and why not electric pumps? Gravity?

What type of pump do I need to make this happen, running 1/2" drip emitter lines? So many different kinds...

Gas pump for now, gravity soon.

Ball valve before the union on the inlet side and another union on the outlet before the ball valve and screen filter on the outlet side make it so you can isolate and disconnect the pump drain it and deal with repairs etc., plus it won't be wet.

Depends on the water source ... my RO water plays nice ...

Just planted my plants in on the heat wave :p, they hardened right off .. tea + crab meal first then ... some salmon fish and food today ...

Currently using a 1 inch hose and 3/4 hp USA made pump need to figure out how to drip 99 pots without a mess :p (Amateur but saves water so far ...) Currently about 600 gallons total per watering ...

I guess I need to see if it's oil free :p

Here's the progress so far in the garden!!

100% CDFA ORGANIC !!!

NO Additional Nitrogen is EVER added !!

90% of Fertilization comes from Foliar application!

Let's start our garden tour!!

Cherry Pie in a 200 Gallon smart pot on 5/23

Let's fast forward to today, here's that SAME plant! 3 weeks later!

Let's move on to another patch!!! How about The West Coast DOG...This plant has been PROLIFIC for me for years. I would never plant a garden with out at least 25% of it being this strain. I think it's a Bubba x Haze type cross ...Whatever it is..I appreciate it and I thank The Docta at Archive Seeds for this plant!

Again, on 5/23

and today...Just about 3 weeks later.

We'll continue the tour in another post since IC Mag only allows 5 images per post!

This is the first year that I've ran a strain from my own breedings! Very exciting for me because ironically , these plants are the best ones on the farm.

The genetics are Bomb Threat Bubba Kush x Heart Attack Kush...

I call this plant Farmer's Dream.

I've been looking for this plant my entire growing career. If you know me you'll know that I love the limonene and pinene terpenes. This plant has them in spades.

It grows with the structure of the Bomb Threat Kush , and the vigor of the Heart Attack. The Bomb Threat added Density to the Heart Attack Kush flowers..The Bubba Kush / Og Kush and Jacks Cleaner are all well represented in the flower.

On to the photos!

Hope you enjoyed the tour!

D- or L-limonene?

Don't you think you're a little biased, though? Just kidding!

Colorado greenhouse

Plants have been In the greenhouse for 3-4 weeks in 5 gallon smart pots. I transplanted into the 300 gallon smart pots on 6/8-6/12
Last year I was a month ahead in planting but I had some 12" seedlings in some of the pits while others where hittin the 4' mark. The big ones produced about5 units while the smaller ones were in the 3 range. This year I was more consistent as all the plants were pretty big at the time of transplant.
As far as strains go I've got a few different varieties from rare dankness; 501, leeroy, starkiller and a scotts og
Ganja rebel; blue dream x 5gs, ogcdx ogsd
Also a dg withches weed x Rez chemdog sour diesel
The blue dream x5gs have had me worried for the last month it looks like they're gonna gonna trigger early. I have no experience with any type of blue dream, but I know she should be outgrowing everything in most cases. Yesterday was my last day of supp lighting so I. Keeping my fingers crossed she won't flip.

WOW, Dreambig. Totally undercover...

BYF, looks awesome.. as the plants gets bigger do you increase the number of drip line loops around the plant? Just add couplers? I just got my order from dripworks and I'm about to dive into it- at one point you were saying 65ft per 8x8 300gl mound- just checkin.

Looking forward to more pics !!! :tiphat:

One of my cherry pies as of yesterday- No bottles nutes yet- or prob ever-- just last years vermifire ammended 10:1 with vermiblend.. a top dressing with ppd... My soil tests came back from FGL with 3-4 times the ideal amount of phosphorous and 2 x the ideal potassium so I'm playing with the idea that I won't have to add phos for the whole season..got some nitro bat guano 16-.5-0 I'm going to brew up here soon

If you're high on K your plants aren't stacking Enough Ca to make strong cells. YOu need to foliar amino Ca often to keep your plants balanced.

I have 65 ft on the individuals. I run it longer than an hour if I need more water

BackYardFarmer - You don't mess around with drippers? That flood style gives the plants enough water?

Your grow looks great, as expected.
