Will this prescription do

Obviously should be asking a lawyer but wont have time to see one for a few weeks.

I got this from a doctor, will this cover what Conroy was talking about

Those who have "possession" ATP expiry before March 21, 2014 should get an authorization from their doctor under reg 53 of the Narcotic Control regs to the same effect (dosage) to cover them if they still have valid Ppl/DG September 30, 2013. I think Health Canada is correct in their interpretation and we will need to consider trying to fix this on cross appeal.

IMO...that offers a good defense.
"will this do"...kinda ambiguous.
Conroy's advice was a "knee jerk" statement. He realized the injunction was seriously flawed, hell two plaintiffs aren't covered by it. It has to be corrected by the courts. Until it is, everything else is just a matter of building the best possible defense. A schedule 56 exemption is the best, but you won't be able to get one.
So...does it make you "legal"?, no. Does it give you a good defense, yes.
A lawyer's advise is best, but I'm pretty sure they are going to say the same thing.
Nice to see the name behind the name Buds.

Buds,

It would be better to be covered by the Injunction with a valid ATP...But...I'm sure it will work as Conroy said.

Its been so long, I'm starting to think Health Canada is NOT going to set a date for an appeal...Just so Conroy can't fix the problems with the Injunction in the Cross Appeal. The injunction is bad as far as HC is concern...But a fixed Injunction would be even worst for them.

I agree...TBA...lol.

I think one of the parties involved, has to make a formal request before a Judge will act.

BUT as we all know...lol. Anything can happen once you stand in front of a Judge. IMO...I can't see either risking an appearance when the actual Constitutional Challenge is slated for Feb. 23, 2015, with 3 weeks of court time booked. I would have to say each party's plates are pretty full with all the preparations needed for a case as big as the Constitutional Challenge for Medical MJ's future in Canada.

But I could be wrong...TBA, for sure MM.

If the expiry is dated July 25, 2014 on both the ATP(Authorization To Possess) and the PPL/DPL(Personal/Designated Production License) then you are fine, you are included in the Injunction. If its expiry is dated(July 25, 2013) before Mar. 21, 2014, then yes, you will need a document as suggested by Conroy from your Doctor.

Also remember...This Doctors document will not make you exempt and part of the Injunction, it will just make a win in court much easier, by continuing your medical status with Marijuana. You should consult a Lawyer to get a more defined idea of how this document will/can help you.
