I no longer go in when the lights are on other than to see if they are coming on when first set up. I use the green LED cap lights and only enter when the lights are off. They are cheap and easy to come by. use em.

...and you'll miss seeing everything green lights won't show you, like PM, yellowing leaves from nutrient issues, etc.

...for the win. Need that UV protection- and don't forget to wear them under the fluorescent and LED lights, too.

Not true about missing things like yellowing leaves. Generally I use the caplight to do ordinary chores not trouble shooting. You can do that by turning the HID's off and use regular lighting. Welders googles and HID light are not up to fine point trouble shooting either.
