Hi ho here we go

Around 300 volunteers are going to the East Fork of the San Gabriel River in the Angeles National Forest to pick up trash in a 15 mile stretch.

This is because the Forest Service cannot do thier job. (Don't get me started)

It's going to be a good, it's starting out cool. We will collect a couple of tons of litter.

Peace :tiphat:

I hear ya duder. When I dump shit in the woods, it's always in nice neat little piles.

Made it back ..

Made it back ..

I was the leader for 17 folks. 2 ladies older than me, a couple of housewives and thier kids.

Those ladies and kids really picked up some trash. I was surprised by the low turnout, only around 50 showed up.

Had a good time and cleaned my favorite stretch of river.

Peace :tiphat:

I hate hiking to a remote area just to find lots of trash...hard to go anywhere without finding someones left trash....especially by a waterway...good on you bro....I thought for a moment you were doing community service, not donating your time

I have been doing it for about 7 years.

After cleaning up, it's Hambergers, Hot Dog's Potato Salad , Cole Slaw and cold drinks.

Then a Raffle and gifts for the kids.

It is always amazingly disgusting how those people along the SG river even leave soiled baby diapers..you name it.

I use to do that, in that same area with my prospecting club, years ago. Have a good day and thanks for keeping America Green!!! :ying: jpt

They didn't show up, I wonder why.

Keene didn't show I'll have to ask him why not :tiphat:

My wife and I were the only ones from the group.
