Well , well , lets try this again ...

took quite awhile to build this sucker . I am on 4th week of flower but surprised I got this far due to the fact the last four weeks growth has been slow due to the fact i should have measured runoff due to the PH going UP due to hard tap water build ups.anyway We are on the right track now and looks like I might get returns though obviously not what I had in mind for My first time .

165 watt PLL . 1 6500k and 2 3000k 55 watts . workhorse 7 . light and all the sockets cost 80 bucks from 1000bulbs polished reflectors where hand built. still need to fill the carbon filter which might force me to change out the fan with this delta 40mm 15 CFM 11,000 RPM 15 inH2O screamer .luckily the filter gets rid of the sound from a 40mm when its on just needs to be tuned . 7 degree rise in he box right now .

You can't edit until like 50 posts or something. I think. I don't know the exact number. But when it stops saying newbie under your name.

Your cab looks good! I'll follow along. Did you name yourself after the chick from It's Always Sunny? I love that show, it's my wife's and my favorite! :D

Haha, don't worry about it. Everyone knows about the newbie post editing thing. You're not the first to say these exact things, and you won't be the last.

Anyone else screw a grow up during the first four weeks of flower so bad that the buds come out extremely small ? Some of these are as big as a dime . Almost looks like the Ph has stunted them to the extreme . I am debating leaving room in the cab for a couple party cups worth of these genes next grow to see if it repeats this trait while leaving the majority of the room to grow out what I know is good looking genes .

Clean looking build D.

I would definitely recommend doing back to back runs on the same stuff if you have the opportunity as that will fill really in the gaps as far as how runs go. We've all been there to one degree or another.

Hey guys , not much going on but the buds are bulking up nice . Just curious if any of you have seen this before . I am trying to decipher what's going on here . I have seen this variation of green and yellow along with dying spots popping up left and right this grow.i don't notice anymore tip burn only thing is maybe this plant and the other that are showing this effect are too dark green .any thought? Thanks in advance.

Looks to me like plain old underfeeding. Looks like it's only happening to the lower leaves. The plant is cannibalizing its oldest growth for nutrients for the newer growth. What's your EC, and/or how much are you feeding?

saving Up for a Ec meter . These plants are getting the 4 g /gal of maxi bloom . been experimenting and came down from burning levels of nutes already. Ill keep moving the fed up small increments for now the are responding good thus far .

week 5 and 1/2

week 5 and 1/2

Sure thing . Here is the back along with pictures of some of the buds at week 5 and 1/2 . These are not the biggest due to my neglect but frostiness is good with this one plus almost forgot the point and shoot had full manual settings . Now photos are much better. The large plant in the back of the cab has some nice big buds . I am just getting the hang of this stuff so yeah some of the plants look small for how far along . Im getting it though !

I will post pics of the homebuilt carbon scrubber once it is done . Just gonna wait for the higher CFM fan to come in. Most of it's built already it just needs the finishing touches .

included are pics of the inturnally baffled intake . its a great light trap and the idea was to trap the whine of 11000 rpm of fan also and provide a way to filter the intake to prevent pests at the same time though haven't got to that part yet as it will be completed with the scrubber . They are just starting to stink slightly in the house and only slightly strong behind right around the box .

If you look at the pic representing the airflow keep in mind it passes a gap at the door /Plexiglas to duct over the lights . all intake is 5x exhaust with any perceived bottle necks sized larger to keep flow moving .

Nice lighttrap man! What material did you use?
Your cab is great!

Thanks a lot , It is gutter down tube and the baffles are something like .040 alum sheet metal riveted in place .the end caps are the down tube connectors with a dense foam stuffed in the ends . The baffle bases were sealed with chalk and whole inside was painted flat black before putting it all together .the down tube mounts were used to clip it in place and i used weather stripping to seal it up . its held in tight contact with twisted SS safety wire. Thing was a pain and added $30 to the cost and could have been been a lot cheaper another way but i had an idea and was ready to be done . Already took to long and I wanted to grow .

Working on the carbon filter as we speak .its pretty slick too . guess I will throw it on I see where I stand with temp . Max now is only 7 don't think I stand another degree more, well see. might still need to wait for the new higher CFM fan before actually running it . Now that the plants are not STARVING they are starting to bulk/stink .Maxibloom up to 6.5 all plants and they are alive . i mistook the yellow tips before for burning . What that they say ? A true grower will act but not react ? Rings true here .
