If I may offer a bit of advice on the fox-tailing and continual flowering: Next time, when it looks to be about a month left of flowering, reduce the light cycle from 12/12 to 11.5 light and 12.5 dark. Also, reduce fertilizer in general, cut out nitrogen completely, and keep the temperatures down.

very good advice...i have gone down to 10/14 to get one bitch to finish....

I harvested today, on day 84 of flowering. Just got them all hanging on the line. They could have easily gone another 2 weeks, I'm thinking, so this is a long-flowering pheno right here. I'll take pictures when they are dry, during the manicure. Yield appears to be pretty good! Some of the tops were so heavy they were snapping at the stem while I was cutting the branches, if I didn't support them right. So yield and pictures are forthcoming!

Here's one of those early branches I cut the other day, now that it's dry... Still not manicured yet:

So now that the first of the buds is dried, I can comment on the aroma... it's very lemony! Where did this lemon come from?! It's weird, it kind of came out of nowhere. I didn't smell it at all until the bud was dried. But it is intense lemon. It actually reminds me of Super Lemon Haze, but not THAT lemony. But the smell is so reminiscent of SLH, I had to mention it.

So how funny is it that it is more lemon-smelling than my Lemon Skunk is? :D

I don't know yet. I was just saying the first branch I cut was dried. The rest of the harvest is still hanging on the line. This branch was probably about 5-7 grams of bud.

My guess is could come from the Skunk of the Super Silver Haze.
Could be the Haze too, not the NL.

SSH = Skunk + Nl + Haze

I didn´t know Bangi Haze had SSH....

Enjoy the fruits of your labour:tiphat:

Okay the yield is in... :D

The total dried weight is 172 grams with what I have right now. I'm going to say I sampled about 15 grams, no more than that. So that would put the grand total at 187 grams, or 6.6 ounces.

I'm happy with that.

Pics later...

Here are a few quick pics I guess. This is a 2 gallon pickle jar, by the way. Over six ounces from four square feet:

While the buds are curing in the giant jar, I thought I would mention this is officially the largest yield I've ever gotten in a 2x2 space. It's still only .5 gpw, but it's the best I've done yet in this sized space. I've always understood that a 2x2 space is limiting in many ways, and because of the built-in obstacles I was always satisfied with getting a little over 4.5 ounces at a time. But now that suddenly changed, and I'm sure it has to do with the genetics I used this time, so my opinion of the 2x2 space is forever changed.

Now, the issue is I have already ordered a new LED grow light for this tent, to replace the HID, because I had previously not had a harvest this large in here, and I figured I might as well save electricity because I was sure that an LED light could bring in the same 4.5 ounces. Of course, that benchmark is now obsolete! :bashhead: Now I have to hope that the LED will give me 6 ounces or else I'll want to go back to the HID again! First world problems, I know. But I'm not getting rid of my 400 just yet. I'm going to see how well the new fixture does first. Hell, I might just grow some SSH clones again just to keep the genetics a constant at this point. I don't know...

I just received the light the other day, so I have to install it still. But once I do, and I have figured out what genetics I'll be doing in here next, I'll start up a new thread, and link to it here.

I will be posting more pics of the harvest after the buds have cured a bit, so stay tuned for that. Otherwise, thank you to everyone who followed along and interacted with me.

Hush,

Congrats on a very successful grow. Best quantity with a quality that you love is exceptional. I'd be very interested in another grow with SSH and an LED light setup in the same tent. I would imagine that it would be easier to keep it cooler. I would love a test to see the effects on fox-tailing and quality/potency with the new light and cooler temperatures. I hope you saved the cutting. In fact, since you like this particular SSH so much, making some seeds might be a great idea.

If you come back to growing this cutting, please resurrect this thread. I keep my subscription to it.

I'll be waiting for a final smoke report and pictures after the cure.

Thanks,

ThaiBliss

Okay I thought I would at least take a picture of one bud, while we wait for the rest to cure a little bit. This is just a random bud I pulled out of the jar to smoke. It wasn't selected for anything. It was entirely random, lol. Anyway, first there's a shot with no flash, then a couple with:

It's so very yummy and it smells so lemony and spicy. I love it! But dang, I gotta tell you all... This kind of weed does NOTHING for my manic tendencies, lol. I've gotta hurry up and harvest some Sadhu so I can medicate again. This is not exactly what I would refer to as "medicating," and is more like just plain old having a blast! :D

It's also not helping my insomnia very much.

Would be thrilled to be able to pull that random nug from my jar right now! (As I pick through a jar of larf and leaf) :/ gotta get better at timing my harvests! Missed my mark by about 2 weeks so I know just how u feel about the sadhu...ironic that the medicine that helps my depression will instead be the cause for a couple weeks!
