I'm in New England, so a little weary of anything new going outside.

I'm in NY also , but theres no way i'd grow outdoors here !!! the weather is just to unpredictable . one minute its cold & raining next its 95 degrees & 80% RH . the almanac says its going to be a hot humid summer guys & they were dead on with the winter forecast so ..... good luck on the outdoor glues !!!!

I'm actually relying on the high humidity in my area to be the saving grace in regards to keeping the soil from drying out. I think it may be the only thing that keeps these plants alive in the 95++ degree summers here... I won't worry about mold / mildew as my spots all get the early morning sun and I'll be able to pull LONG before any sort of cold creeps back into the picture...

if I can do it in 110 degree and 2 % humidity I am sure you can get er done, those elmers have really taken off for me frank, growing real fast. 2 look gg4 dom and one is real thick stemed , more indica looking
