It had to do with cleanliness and eliminating any contaminates from the flower room...for fuk sake people!

Hey...c'mon now. One of the biggest advantages of forums is the ability to have experienced / like minded eyes on our rigs, without having the exposure. Any suggestions that people make are typically for the purpose of stepping up our game - on many different levels.
To get upset about someone tossing out suggestions is counter-productive to the nature of forums in general...
You don't have to agree with the suggestions presented...but there is no reason it should be upsetting either. Don't take it as an insult - take it as people caring enough about you to voice their opinions...

I love your posts and have nothing but complete admiration for your contributions to the community so I will take your advice and chill.
I was very excited to clean up the flower room, get another lamp, a bunch of new stuff, So I had a clean sanitized room to grow the GG4, and I get comments about stupid shit.
Why is a cieling or a wall more fire resistent than a wood floor?
If theres a power surge, the walls will burn just as quick if not quicker cuz its the cieling and walls thatburn. Heat rizes. A floor will last alot longer than walls and cielings in a fire. Plus my ballasts are on wood 3/4" off the floor. I just hadnt got to it yet.

I think the comments on the ballast being on the floor thing makes sense to most,but not my setup.
I dont have water issues or tripping over cord issues. Ballasts have safety catches for the cords these days.
If I pull out the power cord that doesnt have the safety latches, the ballast shuts off, no harm, no foul.
This room was under construction still when I snapped some pics. The cords are wrapped together in a neat little line now, plus I dont need to even go over to that corner of the room really.

What if Im on the 10th floor of an apt building?
What if theres no way someones gonna put a ladder out there to get up to it with someone there all day long? I just felt that that was a useless attack and comment on me to further the fact I felt I was getting bashed on.
I think I have earned my stripes as a grower that I dont need a deck hand telling me how to run my ship. This is my ship and I know it inside and out.
When I water my plants, I put a catchtray under each one, and then when the water is drained fully out, I empty the catchtrays and put them away after cleaning them, in a dif room, so they dont get white powdery stuff on them and contaminate the air or sit in their stagnate water and breed all kinds of nasties. There is no chance at all, other than water pooring through my cieling onto my ballasts, that Ill have water issues. Even if a pipe burst or a tree fell through my roof in a storm, and rain was pouring into the room, it wouldnt fill up.
It would run right through it to the downstairs neighbors. Ive spilt a full glass of water when it was my bedroom. Plus the floor is extremely slanted and it would run to the other side of the room.
My point being......Ive earned my stripes and would appreciate it if people would be encouraging rather than sceptical and belittling.
Anyhoo...I truly love your posts DF and thank you for all your hard work and inspiration.

How does the glue do outdoors as far as mold goes?
dont worry so much about it fading babba,sometimes gg doesnt fade at the end,that looks plenty ripe to me

I did have security issues for the first time, due to extreme odor from only one gg4.
You could smell that one plant easily a quarter acre away.
