When to stop watering?

I read somewhere that cutting off water to plants a little before harvest increases resin production. How many can testify that this is true? And if so how long do you stop watering before the chop? A week? I don't mind asking questions, I'm on a quest to always grow the best possible product within my given circumstances. I'm very thankful for this forum to help provide answers long the way!!

Im not sure on the resin production,
But I usually stop watering once I have finished my flushing period I then wait til the soil is dry then harvest.

It's makes the soil easier to get rid of as it lighter.

But I have noticed an increase in resin production when I lower my res temp for the flushing period in dwc

Exactly what I do for the same exact reasons... Just don't let them die in the pot huge pita ... U wanna take them When they are dry desperately needing a watering instead they get the axe....
