Have you seen it in action or the concentrate that it produces? Also wondering the name/manufacturer of that bad boy. This is an area that I'm quite interested in as I have a chemistry/lab background and have been watching some of the specialty concentrate production labs popping up in Colorado. I'd love to open up a concentrate lab in Canada once we see full legalization.

I've been particularly interested in some of the super-critical CO2 extraction devices that have hit the market in the last year. Not cheap, but you can get some pretty amazing results from what I have seen, as well as some pretty incredible automation.

Thanks Med Man

To answer your questions QA:
That unit is setup with a tube that holds almost 4lbs of material. It is flexible and can run a 1lb, 2.5lb and almost 4lb tube. All the parts for the unit are not setup in that pic.
I am selling these closed loop extractors in Canada. If anyone wants an explanation of what closed loop is let me know.

The end product is basically the same as any other extractor setup although you can tailor it a bit depending on how low a vac you pull down to when the extraction is done.
At around -15 vac there is still solvent in the material and this leads to a bit of syrupy material which is easy to pour out and vac purge.
If you pull down to -29 with a vac pump and then freeze it produces a cotton candy type of material.

It is not a co2 system. They are pretty expensive.

butane is killed
go with co2

and co2 does not have to be expensive my setup on the extraction end was only 3000cad the hard part was finding large co2 tanks made from aluminum in hickland

Not sure what you mean by that but you can get a small co2 setup sure but not one that does a reasonable amount for 3k.

Hey ortsa, I'm very interested in your CO2 set-up. Do you have any pics that you can share?

correct hp to 3/4 p of material at a time
and by killed i mean passé no one will be using butane once offered the chance of using co2 extraction high pressure or low and it will keep retards from blowing garages up

not to knock your skunk farm setup or anything its very nice looking and they are pioneers in the extraction game

funny, you don't see c02 being heralded at secret cups ;) a lot of heads don't care for it...is it true, it remains fairly sappy ?

icdog, where you located? I think I might be highly interested in one of these units as I'm in Canuckistan myself and buying from the US isn't usually an option.
