A picture of a Oaxacan and Thai leaning Haze, after I polluted it with Hawaiian Haze and Burmese genetics. This explains its fat leaves. It still maintained it's "Gold" color. After each outcross, I backcrossed to the same Oaxacan Gold/Thai leaning individual:
When I find a plant with half the potency/quality or better, I'll sprout those seeds and make the next generation. I've been waiting 10 years! I hope the pure Oaxacan above is "it"! I may have run out of time already. I hope those seeds sprout.

I got a freebie of "Tijuana" by Blimburn. Looking forward to see how it does next season.
That should be a S1 from a famous Spanish cut, a fast uplifting sativa but the origin is unknown (some people say it's a haze hybrid that came from Holland, others a mexican strain but its uncertain). The seedbank is one of those famous overpriced polen chuckers that sells reverted clones and bulk seeds done by others like most in Spain (excepting the very few with proper breeders).

I got a freebie of "Tijuana" by Blimburn. Looking forward to see how it does next season. I am in the middle of trying to get fem pollen from a Thai I have. If that goes well it will be cool that kind of bud the two combined can produce.
No Tijuana inside there, i know it , is ssh x queen mother,,,, and is made by positronics for them,,,
I know cause i gave the tijuana clone to the breeder long time ago,,, and he cant make a good cross with it.
In theory is the same as cum laude,,, but diferent name,,, all fake, no tijuana , no Original haze... ssh bilbo clone x kali mist or queen mother from delicatessen seeds.

red haired mex. out of cbg's destroyer early indoor run for testing and seeds.
i believe the red haired mexican might be the grail sativa of mexico. the only source i know of for rhmx is reef's accidental haze and cbg's rhmx/punto rojo component of destroyer.
i've got seedlings from a bx from another similar strain; fire fox tail. the mex. has very narrow leaves even in early veg. the fire fox tail has wider leaves:

Que onda paisas!! Wow, I never knew this thread existed or that there was this much interest in Mexican ibl's.
I was born in jalisco, with my family being involved in gardening/landscaping I always had access to good mexi from my pops workers.. man I remember all of these sinse I tried most. Except for the colombian, I tried that when I used to live in northern cali. Everything else in southern cali. Pata de borrego, cola de borrego, verde limon aka lima limon, peliroja, la indica, zorrilla, yukon gold.... my first grows and crosses were with mexicans. Mostly verde limon. I even went to jalisco and met growers there and tried some stuff that put og kush to shame in strength... lol. I could not even go over a 1 foot high wall.. I was outies!! Anyways, its a shame how we lost and are loosing there ibls here and around ghe world.. one thing that I remember is the peliroja being so resinous that by half joint it would go out and your fingers and lips were full of dripping resins from the joint. That stuuf was potent! I have yet to see the modern day buds do that or even close to that type of stone. Now thats breeding material.

Nice to hear from you! The verde limon was nice! In around the 90's for me, I have seen bricks of mexican regular this stuff stands out. Always Very light green not like the darker bricks. The verde was always fluffy even when bricked. Very sweet skunky citrus smell and flavor was smooth and tasyed the way it smelled minus the skunk. Small brown seeds hardly any mottling. I always kept them short and in indoors so I never got to see their full phenotypical expressions under the natural sun. But indoors it had the thin leaves just a little more wider.buds are not dense at all but not wyspy either lets say fluffy buds. I do remember that I would harvest by the hair color changed at roughly 80-90% and I would be harvesting early at 8-9 weeks but it could go way longer .it does have the Christmas tree shape and if I remember correctly I think the farmers said that it got to sbout 5 to 6 feet outdoor in their region in mex. When I used a male afghani to cross the verde limon female, from the batch that I poped the females seemed to lean towards the mexican side in looks but ghani' in smoke and slightly less density but still good with flavor of Tang juice drink but then again I was able only to pop a few beans before I lost em seeds and all..the verde crosses very nicely with indicas from my experience. Sorry for the vague "description" lol. I was in my teens back then.....

hey nice thread i have a couple of different groups of mexican seed laying about and i am actually sprouting some right now and i am planning an open pollination with small plants because i want fresh pure mexican seeds. its really easy to get weed where i live and i can go to mexico and buy it too. i have lost so many mexican seeds to my mom its not even funny. you know mom finds your stash she says she flushed it but shes really smoking it. freaking laws making people paranoid i dont know why the heck she would throw my seeds away when she found them. Its a little harder now a days to find viable seeds but it's not impossible.
so thats why i decided i need to make some fresh mexican seed from whatever cracks. i will quit smoking a bit becase nothing gets me high anymore not even the shit i grow the highs just suck when you smoke all day everyday for a few years.
I like the smells of the light green bricked weed those pine-ish, grassy smelling ones. i used to ask if weed could really smell or taste like lime or lemon because any light green was called verde limon which means lime green. but that was a reference to the color not the smell. i was told yes but i didn't beleive it until i grew my own from modern hybrids. as luck would have it i grew out a slightly herm lime smelling plant from some of my mexicanseeds that cured to a not so sweet cherry type of smell out of the jar but strong lemon lime type smells when broken up. no taste though. i crossed it with some royal purple kush that was a supposed to be purple haze chitrali f2 backcrossed with chitrali 2 or three times.....only the chitrali lime terpenes showed up no purple haze taste or smell as advertised, i havent grown any of those but im 100 percent sure they will come out lime smelling.
from the mexicans i have grown i get a typical fruit cocktail type of smell i cant point out a specific fruit i just call it mexican fruit smell. also some foul smelling that you cant help but look away because it stinks like someone who had not bathed not b.o. armpit smell it was just nasty i dont know how else to describe it. some very resinous no smell plants i have about 20 of those seeds left, wet earth type of smells, a stinky dogshit or dog fart smelling one kind of skunky but different not exactly like dog crap lol i have about 30 of those seeds left i only grew one female of those. one time i got this super skinny plant that had an unpleasant fruit smell that stuck to your nose with a lime finish i made some seeds with a lime highland thai but the 10 or so seeds never grew. this thing was just a few calyxes growing here and their no actual bud clusters and it was a micro test plant from different groups of seeds that i wish i still had. her sisters werent the same they had bud clusters but i dont remember them too well. i have seen only one plant on the net that looked like this maybe two this thing was ridiculously low yielding.
I love pine weed and i once knew someone who was selling some super seeded dark slightly purple very airy stuff that gave you a very nice high kind of visual it had potential becase it would sometimes have the sweetest most beatiful pine taste i have ever had the smoke from those nice tasting hits smelled the same it was awesome. most of the time it was a non flavored normal weed smelling when burnt. some hits tasted good but rarely like ten percent of the time you would get that beatiful pine flavor in a hit.
i told my neighbors once about this weed since i had scored that one not to long before they moved in and they didnt beleive me about the pine taste and some hits tasting normal.... untill they scored some pine stuff themselves. the guy smoked me out to his last joint of it he only bought a nickle a 5 dollar bag you know? and man that stuff didnt taste like anything at first but you would all of a sudden get a pine flavor in some hits but this was more like a christmas tree type of taste it was way different than the beautiful sweet one i talked about i almost got myself a nickle but the guy who had decided to "run out". i love those two and i hope one day i run in to those flavors again. i got my eye on a nice pine sativa hybrid with skunk i plan to grow it and select for the more sativa type males and use them.... i wont say wich strain it is but you might be able to guess... i dont want them to be out of stock by the time i free up some money to buy them.
theirs two more i can remeber a soapy tasting one and a light orange tasting super strong tangerine aftertasting one that i fell in love with only some hits of a joint tasted like that like 25 precent of it. it was like wow where did that flavor come from? then what happend to the flavor? then holy crap their it is again im not imagening this. also i kick myself for not buying the quarter pound of this stuff i could have gotten long story short i spent some money on others and only had 100 pesos about 10 dollars to buy this one and i didnt know it was so good until i brought it back home illegaly crossing it through the border of course hey it was a fat ass ounce for ten bucks plus the other two ounces i had. the quarter pound would have been like 30 dollars. i dont cross any weed anymore it's just too risky but it can be so easy too.
the cheapest weed i have bought in mexico was a pound for 500 pesos back in 2005 about 42 dollars. i got that deal in 2007/8 for a sort of rotten meat type smelling brick. i did get one other brick like that one around that time too. the more expensive pounds where like 800 pesos like 65-70 dollars. it just dpends on who you knew the main guy or a reseller. now a days their probably more in the 100 dollar range but you can still find them for 50 to 80 dollars if you know the right people. i havent tried buying anything nor have i gone to mexico to visit family in more than a year..... im disabled now and use a wheelchair so its not so easy to get away score and smoke like it used to be before august of 2006. also my cousin who didn't smoke weed that would help me score had childhood diabetes so he died a few years ago at age 21. r.i.p. Polito.... i miss you cuz. i do have another cousin that can and has helped me we were smoking buddies for a few years but hes a big time hard drug addict now and i just dont trust him with my money anymore not even 5 or ten dollars he will probably just use it on the shit he likes, meth, heroin you know the type and just bull shit me about cops chasing him so he threw the stash away or some shit. i like him but his drug problem is bad i havent actually tried getting together with him for some years now but i will i am long over due for a field trip to mexico.....dude misses me actually and asks about me all the time so i will stop being an asshole hermit and I will visit him soon. well this is getting long and maybe a bit too much info but one last thing is i havent seed any red hair weed in a long time last one i got was very old and stale but it had red resin and red hair not orange or brown man real red. i wish i could get those 200 dollar pounds like in 2004 of some super light green uncompressed RED hair stuff some pine smelling in the bag and the smoke smelled like pine only vaporized would you get a beatifull fresh pine taste not like a christmas type but just nice sweet pine. or it was skunky smelling always full of gold resin it was awesome some of the best i have had it was definitly centerfold in a magazine type stuff. once i also had some orange hair very light green stuff that smelled like sour fruit and stank more when you broke it up. 200 dollars a pound for that one back in 2006. If i could score stuff like that all the time i would not want to grow anything what for? i have not grown anything that satisfies my hunger to get really high i mean really really high thats what i like i dont care what kind of high as long as im satisfied. i have grown quite a few strains.
i want some superior quality sativa to get super high with like when i was a newbie to smoking. that's why i want those ace flagship sativas, malawi, golden tiger, panama, and cbg mangobiche, colombian red , sudafrica, the jarilla im not too interested in since i have lemon lime types already. im trying to grow some panama "red" f2's i made.... i only saw orange hairs in the two females i got one female was a super stocky wide leaf indica i dont think it was a panama but it came in the same pack and i crossed it to the big ol males i got from that same 10 seed pack. the males did grow like they should have like pure sativas..... lime smelling stuff about 16 weeks flowering for those their only a few weeks old right now.
the only way thats going to happen is if i quit because i can never grow enough to last me for a six month cure. and even if i do cure for 3 months the stuff i have grown just doesnt do it for me. i keep a low profile dont sell any and i dont always grow i wish i could but i dont have my own place so i have to follow the rules and only grow when im "allowed" wich is really depressing sometimes. i rarely get approval to grow i hate it because the person who is in charge of the household is a big time pot head too....the law makes people paranoid especially the sativa smokers. it sucks when your own family is enforcing these shitty anti-marijuana laws in the privacy of their own homes.
so in conclusion i will be growing some mexican micro plants from the seeds i have you know small container no veg time straight 12/12 and will be crossing them to each other so i can have fresh mexican seed and when i decide to start smoking again i will start collecting any seeds i find like i have been doing these past years and i will ask around to get seeds from people and last but not least i will go to mexico and start bringing back seeds. I will tell my cousin to not be a dick and help me out again just like old times and i will smoke what i can over their and leave him the rest. i will tell him to save any uncrushed seeds he finds and to be on the lookout for when someone has weed with uncrushed seeds. its easier to find uncrushed seeds over their than here since some of the stuff is still fluffy full of good seed then it gets bricked destroying all the seeds right before coming here to good old us of a. you do see a lot of crushed seeds also though. i will only bring seeds i dont want to get locked up i would probably die in their shit hole prison. any way their you go a lil bit of mexican weed experience from a mexican born in america.
ps the weed is more expensive in my town now like 300 to 450 a pound now which is a ridiculously high price by our standards and actually its hard to find for me at least not the dime bags and ounces those are easy to find its the quarter pounds half pounds and whole pounds i have trouble finding but that's just me im a loner im sure their are some who could get it more easily becase they know more people. i hate the dime and ounce guys they never want to help you buy big amounts they dont want to lose their best customer now do they? they piss me off big time man. well thats enough most probably wont even read through all this crap.

well this is getting long and maybe a bit too much info but one last thing is i havent seed any red hair weed in a long time last one i got was very old and stale but it had red resin and red hair not orange or brown man real red. i wish i could get those 200 dollar pounds like in 2004 of some super light green uncompressed RED hair stuff some pine smelling in the bag and the smoke smelled like pine only vaporized would you get a beatifull fresh pine taste not like a christmas type but just nice sweet pine. or it was skunky smelling always full of gold resin it was awesome some of the best i have had it was definitly centerfold in a magazine type stuff. once i also had some orange hair very light green stuff that smelled like sour fruit and stank more when you broke it up. 200 dollars a pound for that one back in 2006. If i could score stuff like that all the time i would not want to grow anything what for? i have not grown anything that satisfies my hunger to get really high i mean really really high thats what i like i dont care what kind of high as long as im satisfied. i have grown quite a few strains.
i want some superior quality sativa to get super high with like when i was a newbie to smoking. that's why i want those ace flagship sativas, malawi, golden tiger, panama, and cbg mangobiche, colombian red , sudafrica, the jarilla im not too interested in since i have lemon lime types already. im trying to grow some panama "red" f2's i made.... i only saw orange hairs in the two females i got one female was a super stocky wide leaf indica i dont think it was a panama but it came in the same pack and i crossed it to the big ol males i got from that same 10 seed pack. the males did grow like they should have like pure sativas..... lime smelling stuff about 16 weeks flowering for those their only a few weeks old right now.
the only way thats going to happen is if i quit because i can never grow enough to last me for a six month cure. and even if i do cure for 3 months the stuff i have grown just doesnt do it for me. i keep a low profile dont sell any and i dont always grow i wish i could but i dont have my own place so i have to follow the rules and only grow when im "allowed" wich is really depressing sometimes. i rarely get approval to grow i hate it because the person who is in charge of the household is a big time pot head too....the law makes people paranoid especially the sativa smokers. it sucks when your own family is enforcing these shitty anti-marijuana laws in the privacy of their own homes.
so in conclusion i will be growing some mexican micro plants from the seeds i have you know small container no veg time straight 12/12 and will be crossing them to each other so i can have fresh mexican seed and when i decide to start smoking again i will start collecting any seeds i find like i have been doing these past years and i will ask around to get seeds from people and last but not least i will go to mexico and start bringing back seeds. I will tell my cousin to not be a dick and help me out again just like old times and i will smoke what i can over their and leave him the rest. i will tell him to save any uncrushed seeds he finds and to be on the lookout for when someone has weed with uncrushed seeds. its easier to find uncrushed seeds over their than here since some of the stuff is still fluffy full of good seed then it gets bricked destroying all the seeds right before coming here to good old us of a. you do see a lot of crushed seeds also though. i will only bring seeds i dont want to get locked up i would probably die in their shit hole prison. any way their you go a lil bit of mexican weed experience from a mexican born in america.
ps the weed is more expensive in my town now like 300 to 450 a pound now which is a ridiculously high price by our standards and actually its hard to find for me at least not the dime bags and ounces those are easy to find its the quarter pounds half pounds and whole pounds i have trouble finding but that's just me im a loner im sure their are some who could get it more easily becase they know more people. i hate the dime and ounce guys they never want to help you buy big amounts they dont want to lose their best customer now do they? they piss me off big time man. well thats enough most probably wont even read through all this crap.
