Sikiyou - nice job. Question. I found the biggest challenge on growing lucky charms was dealing w the fan leaves. Both mine had very large 9 bladed leaves directly above branch beneath. Did you have 9 bladed leaves and did you remove fan leaves if so when?
Elusive, No, I don't think I removed any fan leaves at all. I almost never remove fan leaves unless they impede airflow excessively or if they are no longer photosynthesizing and are blocking other parts of the plant that are still green. In my opinion and based on my experience, fan leaves are there for a reason and the buds beneath them still ripen.
What does worry me a bit, however, are dying leaf bracts (the single leaves poking out from buds) when the buds are not ripe, since this can be an invitation to budrot, especially if air circulation and relative humidity are not dialed in.

It's very good herb, since i want to keep both of the females I have grown, but if you are asking whether it tastes like oat cereal with dry marshmallow bits, then not at all.
LC3 has an extremely mild flavor, perhaps a tiny bit astringent. Not bad.
LC4 has a fairly mild flavor, with notes of funk and some sort of citrus rind. Tasty.
I have several times had the impression that LC3 goes more to the head and LC4 goes more to the body.

Did you find many 9 bladed leaves as opposed to 7?
Elusive- To be totally honest i never counted. When I went back and looked at pictures I saw some 9 leaved fan leaves, but never worried about them. They were a problem for you?
I grew some BlueDream X 5Gs by Ganja Rebel last year that had many fan leaves with 11 wide blades. Those created some serious shade beneath.
Your question has me thinking about the differences between seed plants and clones regarding fan leaf characteristics, since I feel like seed plants may tend to create larger fan leaves than clones of the same plant, grown under the same conditions. I'm not sure, just thinking. I can think of a few plants where this definitely seems to be true, and a few that don't fit the pattern at all, so i would guess that it is strain dependent.

I am hoping when I pop my LC next run to find a chemmy marshmellow funk pheno. I have had 2 plants I grew before that had the smell/flavor of the cereal marshmellows and they were amazing. That was one of the selling points on the LC for me, I wanted to find that smell/flavor again. Being a white cross with appy, from Bodhi had something to do with it as well lol. Judging from peoples reports, regardless if I find a marshmellow pheno or not. I know these beans won't disappoint.

Siskiyou - the 9 bladed fans were on two males and two females. They were the primary fans on the upper third of the plants. Remaining fans were typical 7. I removed a few from one female and the resulting bud structure may be a little airier but that could be attributed to many things. One plant is really putting on weight now. Shitty pic from phone to follow. Truly beautiful plant.

For anyone interested. I popped four Lucky Charms on St Pattys day. 2 males and two fens. I flipped them on April 18, so approx one month from seed to flower. The two girls are close to done (est approx 58 days of flower. So, from seed to Harvey in less than 90 days. My best guess is they will each yield between 3 and 5 zips of nice dense bud. That's a guess based on experience. Ill post actual dry weight. They are finishing in 3 gallon pots of straight coco. I am on pheno hunt so room is crowded. Meaning with better optimized light they may have even done better. IME that's pretty decent yield wither ally fast flowering time. They were not picky eaters. I did get slight burn when I hit them with heavy bloom mix first time, but burn was very slight and they let me know they weren't mute whores. I only fed them twice a week at 400 ppms on .5 scale. And only phd water since day 48 of bloom. I don't run to waste any more. These girls appear to love it. FYI they ahttps://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=156478&page=9re untopped and taller of two is 56" tall from bottom of pot. The other girl is approx 6 inches shorter. I took cuttings 2 weeks into flower and threw them in water only and they took. These plants have a unique aroma that is pleasant and the pistils are bleached white throughout most of flowering. The pistils turned overnight and I look forward to seeing changes every morning at lights on.

Nice glad he helped ya out, Moreno was a beast last year. Couldnt agree with you more hope Montee is ready to step it up. Its all him this year.
