Buds turning red/brow 2nd day of drying

This is a question for all experienced Coco growers.
This is a second time I witness this happening and need to know why and how to prevent it.

I just harvested one of the gardens. People I work with.
The flower were cut. Looked green and beautiful. We hanged them to dry. On the third day I noticed that most of them had developed a lot of red / brown hair and the buds look mostly redish in color versus green as they were on day one.

They were grown in coco. When they were switched to flower, they were fed H&G coco base nutes (half straight); 3/4 straight monster bloom; and nothing else.
About a month before harves I only fed them Half straight A and B base and nothing else.
PH was always 5.8; ppm never went over 750.

I mentioned that this is a second time it's happening.
First time my nutes were all over. I have not used any coco based nutes at all and my ppm was mostly at 1200 all the time. That was a bad run (this was when I was arguing with Sensei Coconutz 24 hours a day). So I wasn't really surprised that run turned red then brown then pale then yellow, and then some...

But this run. I thought... I was sure I was doing everything right.
Please help me make sense out of this

sounds like it's strain related to me, do you do an end flush of the coco before harvest? you have any pics of the buds at harvest and after drying? hard to say much from the facts so far. are the buds good to smoke is the quality good? what genetics are you growing? what color were the hairs when you harvested? white hairs can turn red if buds are harvested when the pistil hairs are white.

Not sure if u can tell from the pic.
Everything was kosher at the harvest.
It had fair number of brown hair and was generally ready to go.
I harvested this strain many times. Just in peat moss

I've seen bud like that before from a local cashcropper. He calls it the Tan and the only person who will buy it is a guy who doesn't smoke and ships it out for sale. The grower harvests when he needs money (which is all the time) and not when the plant is ready to harvest.

Once 8 week strain hit 8 and a half weeks it will be harvested. And yes sir, it will be sold.
Someone out ther may mention... Well.... Seems like you harvested early.. But it is what it is.

On my end, I looked at throchomes. Most were milky and just a few started to look amber.
This is where they say "chop".. What can I say. Milky and amber are the key to them.

This is why it turns red though? Is that what's going on? I am glad I learned that because it is easy to fix.. Don't harvest early.

looks like he did an edit. for some reason the system didnt take note of the edit. noticed this myself yesterday when i edited something. it didnt leave a note saying so.

anyway thats what i'm thinking too, let them go a bit longer. or look for another strain that is faster.

You shouldnt even be checking until the calyx swell and the hairs have mostly retracted.
You will see the calyx swell and close over the pistils, then they swell a bit more.
You lost about 1/2 of your weight!
