Hello PetFlora!

Popping in for the show, more than interested to see how that new led unit performs as I'm interested in buying one for my 4x4 tent too :tiphat:

I would say it's going to be a winner.

Welcome WW

When you order, please mention me

Keep in mind you can select your own spectrum configuration, but all 6 bars must be the same.

Hopefully later, they will allow for some individual bar flexibility

I wanted the 2 outside bars to be 3000/2700 (+ separate O/O switch, as they aren' t needed during veg) with the 4 inside bars more 3500-4500

I connected a pond fogger this morning but was not seeing any change ~ 40% UNTIL I placed it so that the fan was somewhat blowing across part of it. RH now ~ 54%, still not great but significantly better

Temp with 600 + bars is 82*s at noon. Will see as it gets hotter around 3-4. Temp is expected to be in low 90s for the next 3 days

Saturday morning SPYDR update

RH now stays up over 50%

Buds are packing it on big time

New nutes ~ 770ppm

Since mixing the water and adding nutes while electric mixer is on, I noticed no more tan residue in my rez

LED Tent

This is an experiment for the plant with the fused top leafs (now bifurcated) + a holding spot for the male (Big Mex) + now has 2 clones from Shorty and the bifurcated plant (forgot to take pic)

Just cleaned the tote and replaced ~ 350ppm nutes with ~ 540ppm

Pic 1 is the male

I so want to post pics, as the buds are fattening up before my eyes, but will wait until tomorrow

The diffusers aren't as they appear in the pics

They are quite clear, but have ribs on them, which causes some of the light to disperse in a wider pattern

I raised the 600 ~ 3" higher above the canopy

I also made a few adjustments to the bars

I slightly staggered every other bar (~ 1") so that the 625 diodes are not in a straight line

I also moved the 6 bars a bit closer together making more light available to the inside buds

Pics tomorrow

The penetration of the led seems nice!

I'm loving my current leds ms0006 but the area the light covers well is so small

everything that is growing under the immediate area is bulking up and putting on some serious frost. I know I would love that BML led for my 4x4 :wahey:

No doubt about that

You suggest going with all white ? I would have the unit for flowering purposes only as I have ms0006 panels for vegging and they seem to rock it.

http://www.bmlcustom.com/custom-led-strip/

Well, my 600 is mostly 2700/3000 ~ 7:3 with a touch of 6500, 450 and 625- but I was shooting for a one light for both veg and flower. So far, it is flowering beautifully

Without being able to see the actual Osram graphs, most 2700s drop off around 610, so adding some 625 makes sense

I have not seen any tangible evidence of 660 doing anything other than causing stretch. However, I did add a few on my 2 separate 3ft bars. Use your own judgement

730 is best left for separate bars to be used only for ~ 15 minutes AFTER lights out

In case you are unable to view... from Left to Right

3000- 2700- 625- 3000- 4500- 625- 3000- 2700- 3000- 625- 4500- 3000- 625- 2700- 3000

So whether you can see the link or not, just plug these into the chart and you will then see the real time data

Select 90* lens

Keep in mind this will be repeated 3 times per bar

That should serve real well for flowering

Thanks MM.

Never having grown this strain, not sure what to expect, but compared to all my previous grows these are rockin, BUT, the BML SPYDR has something to do with it too

Between my high performance rez and lights, it's now a well oiled system

If you don't mind, just give me a heads up when you think I should flush.

I am at ~ 750ppm, next week ppms drop down to ~ 600, followed by ~ 500

I am noticing a lot more heat from the top (back) side of SPYDR, which is 8" below where the hot5 currently is holding place- just in case

essentially, it is acting as a quasi top, but all four sides between the 2 are open, plenty of air flow potential

Today, I repositioned my fan so it blows across both the SPYDR and the top of the plants, but it is perpendicular to the SPYDR bars

I just emailed BML

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Got a positive response from BML-

That means the heat sink is doing its job

Our fixture relies on conduction and convection to keep the LEDs operating at the target temperature. The fan will cool the LEDs, and this will increase your PAR levels.

Turns out the RH was not the problem I thought

The problem is the hygrometer

I have a second one so I put it in there as well. It reads ~ 60% RH which is fine

Buds look amazing

Nice! yeah sometimes just have to double check the equipment...60% is beautiful.

At this point I would prefer ~ 50%, but it is open at the top with a fan blowing across, but in an air trapped tent, probably not want 60%

Pics tomorrow, maybe Saturday
